摘要： Systems and methods for validating and applying modifications to a policy control function (PCF) of a station. The methods include generating a PCF package including a modification to a PCF, and determining whether the PCF package is to be transmitted to the station by a first or second entity. The methods further include when the PCF package is to be transmitted by the first entity, including a first signature of the first entity in a deliverer field of the PCF package, and when the PCF package is to be transmitted by the second entity, including the first signature in an owner field and a second signature of the second entity in the deliverer field. The methods further include receiving the PCF package from the first or second entity, determining whether the PCF package is valid, and applying the modification to the PCF when it is determined the PCF package is valid.

摘要： Distributed arbitration in a full-duplex bus system. By distributing the arbitration function among the nodes of a tree topology full-duplex bus system such that arbitration at any particular time is handled by a node holding a grant of the bus at that time (the nominal root node), a reverse flow direction towards the nominal root node is available for arbitration flow. This allows the discrete arbitration phase to be eliminated and generally improves bus efficiency.

摘要： Methods for enabling a secure test mode, and integrated circuits (IC's) implementing the same are disclosed. An IC may include a secure functional unit that is protected from access from test access circuitry during normal operation. The secure functional unit may be rendered inaccessible the test access circuitry of the IC following a completion of a test that includes testing of the secure functional unit. An embodiment of an IC that includes circuitry to delay entry into a test mode while a chip-level reset is performed is also contemplated. Entry into the test mode may be delayed until all circuitry of the IC has been fully reset in order to clear stored information.
