Abstract:
A foldable knife having a handle inlay through which the knife blade can be viewed may include a knife handle having an interior handle liner and at least one outer handle portion on the handle liner. At least one knife handle inlay may be provided in the knife handle. The knife handle inlay may include a walled or ridged inlay structure which extends from the handle liner and has a selected size and shape. An inlay window may extend through the outer handle portion. The inlay window may generally correspond to a size and shape of the inlay structure and the inlay structure extends through the inlay window.
Abstract:
This disclosure describes communication techniques that may be used within a multiple-processor computing platform. The techniques may, in some examples, provide software interfaces that may be used to support message passing within a multiple-processor computing platform that initiates tasks using command queues. The techniques may, in additional examples, provide software interfaces that may be used for shared memory inter-processor communication within a multiple-processor computing platform. In further examples, the techniques may provide a graphics processing unit (GPU) that includes hardware for supporting message passing and/or shared memory communication between the GPU and a host CPU.
Abstract:
A light fixture or troffer for directing light emitted from a light source toward an area to be illuminated, including a reflector assembly within which the light source is positioned and a lens assembly detachably secured to a portion of the reflector assembly such that a lens of the lens assembly overlies the light source and such that substantially all of the light emitted from the light source passes through the lens assembly. In one example, the lens includes a curved prismatic surface that can be oriented toward or away from the underlying light source.

Abstract:
The present invention provides a method, apparatus and computer program product which enables a web service gateway or web service server to provide a document, such as a WSDL, describing a target service to a requesting client which contains details which have been tailored for that client. For example, for a target service which provides access at different qualities of service, a WSDL can be returned in response to a client request, the WSDL containing details of how to access the target service at an appropriate quality of service for a user id which was specified with the client request.
Abstract:
Catalyst system suitable for preparing substantially terminally unsaturated atactic polymers or copolymers of &agr;-olefins having a molecular weight (Mn) in the range 200-500,000. The catalyst system includes a metallocene of the formula: [RmCpH(5-m)][RnCpH(5-n)]M(Z)Y wherein CpH is a cyclopentadienyl ligand, each R represents an alkyl or an aryl substituent on the CpH ligand or two R's may be joined together to form a ring, or the Rs in each CpH group when taken together represents an Si or C bridging group linking two CpH groups wherein the Si or C group may itself be substituted by hydrogen atoms or C1-C3 alkyl groups, M is a metal selected from hafnium, zirconium and titanium, Z is selected from a hydrogen atom, a trifluoromethane sulphonate, an alkyl and an aryl group, Y is selected from a, 1,3-diketonate and a &bgr;-ketoester arion, and each of m and n is same or different and has a value from 0 to 5.
Abstract:
A supported catalyst system suitable for the polymerization of olefins prepared by a specific preparative route comprising optionally pretreating a support followed by addition of a neutral metal complex/activator solution. The metal complex may be a metallocene in particular a complex with trifluoromethanesulfonate ligands and the activator is a Lewis acid.
Abstract:
A first processing unit and a second processing unit can access a system memory that stores a common page table that is common to the first processing unit and the second processing unit. The common page table can store virtual memory addresses to physical memory addresses mapping for memory chunks accessed by a job of an application. A page entry, within the common page table, can include a first set of attribute bits that defines accessibility of the memory chunk by the first processing unit, a second set of attribute bits that defines accessibility of the same memory chunk by the second processing unit, and physical address bits that define a physical address of the memory chunk.
