Abstract:
A hairstyling headband that has an elongated channel along its center creating two tiers. The back tier is raised so hair can be placed into the channel and fanned out along the channel covering the raised portion to create 1960's inspired bumped up hair style behind the front tier. Hair can also be placed between a two-tiered headband and rolled up until the headband is secured to the head, creating a rolled hairstyle, and curls when the headband is removed.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a roof antenna (1) for mounting on a roof (2) of a vehicle, said roof antenna (1) having a base plate (7) and an antenna cover (3) that can be connected to the base plate (7). A printed circuit board (4) with antenna elements and at least one plug connection (5) is arranged under the antenna cover (3). The base plate (7) has detent hooks (11) for pre-attaching on the roof (2) and fixing means for a final assembly, said fixing means being designed as a central dome (6) with a screw thread and a star handle (12) that interacts with the dome (6).
Abstract:
An antenna having a base film carrying at least one antenna structure and one electronic device with a contact region of the at least one antenna structure being provided on a tab formed from the base film and contacted with a contact region of the electronic device is made by first providing the electronic device inside a housing. Then the tab is inserted into the housing. Finally the housing is adhesively adhered in place on the base.
Abstract:
A motor-vehicle roof antenna has a base plate adapted to be fitted to the vehicle roof, a sending/receiving unit mounted on the base plate, and a mounting formation for securing the base plate to the roof. The base plate is stamped sheet metal.
Abstract:
A contact spring assembly has a contact plate with a window in which a contact spring is received, the contact spring having bent strips engageable with an antenna amplifier and an antenna amplifier structure. The contact spring is fixed at one end and movable at its other end on the support plate.
Abstract:
A method of promoting bud break uniformity and shoot vigor in deciduous trees and vines is shown. The method comprising applying an effective amount of a composition comprising nitrogen including ammoniacal nitrogen and nitrate nitrogen, soluble potash, calcium, boron, copper and trace elements including iron, manganese and zinc and a combination thereof. A composition for application to deciduous trees and vines is also shown. The composition comprises an enhancing effective amount of nitrogen including ammoniacal nitrogen and nitrate nitrogen, soluble potash, calcium, boron, copper and trace elements including iron, manganese and zinc and a combination thereof.
Abstract:
A mounting bracket (30) for securing a ceiling fan (12) to a ceiling joist (10) has two mounting arms (68) and a support ring (60). The two mounting arms (68) are disposed on opposite sides of the support ring (60) and extend upward for securing to the ceiling joist (10). A down rod (34) of the ceiling fan (12) is suspended from the support ring (60). The two mounting arms (68) each have exteriorly face portions (25) into which respective recesses (58) are formed. Two magnets (56) are disposed interiorly within respective ones of the recesses (58). A ceiling fan canopy (28) has at least a portion thereof defined by a rim portion (21) which is made of a ferrous material. The canopy (28) is disposed around the mounting bracket (30) and the rim portion (21) is magnetically secured to the mounting bracket (30) by the two magnets (56).
Abstract:
The present invention is an apparatus and process for storing and delivering a low vapor pressure process chemical to a process tool for semiconductor fabrication, comprising: a) a bulk container for storing the process chemical; b) a process container for delivering the process chemical to the process tool; c) a first manifold for delivering process chemical from the bulk container to the process container; d) a solvent container containing a quantity of solvent, e) a second manifold for delivering the process chemical from the process container to a process tool; f) a solvent recovery container for containing used solvent and removed process chemical, and, g) a solvent evaporator to differentially remove solvent from process chemical in the solvent recovery container by entrainment in a carrier gas, vacuum removal, heating or combinations thereof. The containers can be baffled on their inert gas inlets. The cabinet can be heated.
Abstract:
A contacting device, especially for an antenna amplifier in an automotive application to contact an antenna on a windshield or rear window of the vehicle has a lever-like contact element in the form of a strap or stirrup and bends lying in a plane and bearing upon the surfaces and bridging between them.
