Abstract: An onboard optical sensor cleaning device ejects fluid against a sensing surface of an onboard optical sensor installed in a vehicle and removes foreign matter from the sensing surface. The onboard optical sensor cleaning device includes a cleaning liquid ejection port that ejects supplied cleaning liquid and an air ejection port that ejects supplied air. The cleaning liquid ejection port and the air ejection port are independent from each other, an air ejection axis of the air ejection port is set so that the ejected air mixes with the cleaning liquid ejected from the cleaning liquid ejection port and to be directed toward the sensing surface.

Abstract: A control unit capable of accurately calculating a magnetization bias of a transformer is provided, thereby appropriately reducing the magnetization bias. The control unit acquires first and second currents that flow through a transformer during a period where either first or second switches individually turn ON. The control unit predicts an amount of magnetization bias in either positive side or negative side of the excitation current that flows through the transformer. The control unit reduces the magnetization bias of the transformer based on the predicted amount of magnetization bias.

Abstract: A control apparatus is provided which controls a power converter including a first circuit including first-side switching elements, and a second circuit including second-side switching elements and a choke coil. The control apparatus includes a current obtainment unit which obtains a value of current flowing through the choke coil, and a control unit which, when power is supplied from the second circuit to the first circuit, keeps a first-side switching element ON during a predetermined time period, before turning off at least one second-side switching element in an on state, the first-side switching element generating a reverse current in the second-side switching element to be turned off. The control unit performs control of keeping the first-side switching element ON during the predetermined time period and control of turning off the second-side switching element, on condition that the obtained value of the current is more than a predetermined command value.

Abstract: In a power converter, a feedback controller feedback controls a manipulated variable based on a first electrical parameter depending on input power and a feedback controlled variable determined for output power. A dead-time determiner determines a value of the dead time as a function of a boundary condition variable depending on at least one of the input power and the output power. The boundary condition represents a reference for determining whether the power converter is operating in a continuous conduction mode or a discontinuous conduction mode. The continuous conduction mode is designed for a current to be continuously flowing through an inductor included in the power converter or a load as an inductor current. The discontinuous conduction mode is designed for the inductor current to be discontinuously flowing through the inductor.

Abstract: A coil assembly includes a band member and a plurality of coils. The band member is rolled along a circumferential direction into an annular shape and has a plurality of layers in a radial direction. The coils have vertical portions, and are located at predetermined positions in the circumferential direction and the radial direction on the band member and connected in a predetermined connection pattern. Moreover, the coil assembly further includes vertical-portion laminates constituted of the vertical portions of the coils which are radially laminated in a cross section of the band member and the coils taken along the radial direction. Each of the vertical-portion laminates is configured so that each radially-adjacent pair of the vertical portions constituting the vertical-portion laminate have different electric potentials when the coils are energized.

Abstract: A vehicle-mounted sensor cleaning device cleans a sensing surface of a vehicle-mounted sensor. The vehicle-mounted sensor cleaning device includes a gas nozzle spraying a gas toward the sensing surface, a gas supply device supplying the gas to the gas nozzle, and a control section controlling operation of the gas supply device. A predetermined value is set in the control section, for indicating an abnormal state of detection accuracy of the vehicle-mounted sensor based on detection accuracy information of an object which is obtained from the vehicle-mounted sensor. A gas supply threshold value is also set, for use in operating the gas supply device to direct a supply of the gas toward the sensing surface before the detection accuracy information becomes equal to or lower than the predetermined value. If the detection accuracy information has become lower than the gas supply threshold value, the control section operates the gas supply device.

Abstract: A control apparatus is provided for controlling an electric power conversion apparatus. The electric power conversion apparatus includes a reactor and a drive switch and is configured to convert one of an AC voltage and a DC voltage into the other of the AC voltage and the DC voltage. The control apparatus is configured to: acquire a current detection value that is a detected value of reactor current flowing through the reactor; acquire the AC voltage; calculate, based on the AC voltage, a command value of the reactor current; set a correction value based on the AC voltage; calculate a post-correction current detection value by subtracting the correction value from the current detection value; and operate the drive switch through peak current mode control, thereby controlling the post-correction current detection value to be in agreement with the command value.

Abstract: In a control apparatus for a power converter, a current obtainer obtains a current flowing through an inductor as an inductor current, and an alternating-current voltage obtainer obtains an alternating-current voltage. A drive signal outputting unit generates, based on the alternating-current voltage obtained by the voltage obtainer, a sinusoidal command. The drive signal outputting unit performs peak-current mode control to output a drive signal that controls switching of the drive switch to thereby cause the inductor current to follow the sinusoidal command. A delay unit delays, for one switching cycle of the drive switch, an off-switching timing of the drive switch in accordance with the alternating-current voltage. The drive signal defines the off-switching timing of the switch.
