摘要: Disclosed herein are a decoding method and apparatus and an encoding method and apparatus for deriving an intra-prediction mode. An intra-prediction mode may be derived using a method for deriving an intra-prediction mode based on a neighbor block of the target block, a method for deriving an intra-prediction mode using signaling of the intra-prediction mode of the target block, or a method for deriving an adaptive intra-prediction mode based on the type of a target slice. An MPM list may be used to derive the intra-prediction mode, and a temporal neighbor block or the like may be used to configure the MPM list.

摘要: Disclosed herein are a decoding method and apparatus and an encoding method and apparatus that perform inter-prediction using a motion vector predictor. For a candidate block in a col picture, a scaled motion vector is generated based on a motion vector of the candidate block. When the scaled motion vector indicates a target block, a motion vector predictor of the target block is generated based on the motion vector of the candidate block. The motion vector predictor is used to derive the motion vector of the target block in a specific inter-prediction mode such as a merge mode and an AMVP mode.

摘要: Disclosed herein are an apparatus and method for compressing 3D volume data. The apparatus for compressing three-dimensional (3D) volume data includes one or more processor, and execution memory configured to store at least one program that is executed by the one or more processors, wherein the at least one program is configured to receive 3D volume data for data compression, select necessary voxels that contribute to formation of a geometric surface from the 3D volume data using a marching cubes algorithm, represent location information of the selected necessary voxels by a tree structure, and binarize the location information of the necessary voxels by serializing the tree structure, and quantize truncated signed distance values to surfaces adjacent to the necessary voxels constituting a volume from the 3D volume data using the binarized location information of the necessary voxels.

摘要: Disclosed herein are a video decoding method and apparatus and a video encoding method and apparatus. Coding decision information of a representative channel of a target block is shared as coding decision information of a target channel of the target block, and decoding of the target block is performed using the coding decision information of the target channel. Since the coding decision information of the representative channel is shared with an additional channel, repeated signaling of identical coding decision information may be prevented. By means of this prevention, the efficiency of encoding and decoding of the target block or the like may be improved.

摘要: Disclosed herein are a method, an apparatus, and a storage medium for image encoding/decoding using partitioning. Various prediction methods and prediction modes may be used for prediction of a block. When a block is partitioned, information related to partitioning, such as information indicating whether partitioning is to be performed and information specifying the type of partitioning, is signaled. Also, when partitioning is applied to the block, an available prediction method and an available prediction method in prediction for the block may be restricted in prediction for the block. For optimization of signaling, multiple pieces of information related to prediction may be signaled, wherein the pieces of information may have dependency relationships, and in some cases, additional information may be derived as specific values depending on the value of one piece of information, and signaling of the additional information may be skipped. There can be provided various methods for efficiently signaling multiple pieces of information based on the restrictions and dependency relationships.
