Abstract: A luminaire can include a housing having at least one outer surface that forms a cavity. The luminaire can also include an aperture that traverses the at least one outer surface of the housing. The luminaire can further include a substrate disposed within the cavity. The luminaire can also include an electrical connector disposed on the substrate adjacent to the aperture. The luminaire can further include a dial coupled to the electrical connector, where dial has a range of positions, where each position within the range of positions of the dial corresponds to a discrete correlated color temperature (CCT) output by multiple light sources of the luminaire.

Abstract: A system can comprise tabs and notches or a twist-and-lock mount for detachably mounting components adjacent a light emitting diode that is utilized for illumination, for example in a luminaire. Representative mounted components can include protective covers and optics for managing light emitted by the light emitting diode. The tabs and notches can be located rear of an aperture in a recessed lighting fixture or in a cover of a luminaire, for example. That cover, or another cover that may not utilize a releasable mount, can extend circumferentially about a periphery of a light emitting diode to cover and protect wiring for the light emitting diode and to hide the wiring from view by people occupying an illuminated space.

Abstract: A luminaire can include a power supply that receives AC mains power from a power source and delivers intermediate power, and can also include a lumen control module coupled to the power supply, where the lumen control module receives the intermediate power from the power source. The lumen control module can include at least one first switch that has multiple positions, and multiple resistors coupled to the at least one first switch, where each position of the at least one first switch corresponds to a resistance of the resistors, where the intermediate power received by the resistors is translated to a current level of a plurality of current levels based on the resistance. The luminaire can also include at least one light source coupled to the lumen control module, where the at least one light source emits a lumen output based on the current level received from the lumen control module.
