A package for dispensing sheet material from a stack includes a novel biasing device for urging the stack of sheet material toward an opening in one side of the package. The biasing device is comprised of a flat sheet of material sized and shaped to be located within the package beneath the stack of sheet material. An elastomeric element having an unstressed length that is less than a diameter of the flat sheet of material is stressed and positioned between opposite edges of the flat sheet of material. As stress is relieved from the elastomeric element, the elastomeric element draws the opposite edges together and elevates a central portion of the sheet of material in the form of an arch to urge the stack toward the opening as the stack of sheet material is depleted.

A hand box sealing tape applicator for dispensing and applying a length of tape from a roll of tape to an object includes a frame comprising a support portion and an angled nose portion. A tape roll support means is provided on the support portion of the frame for rotatably supporting a roll of tape thereon and for providing a gripping surface for a user to hold and manipulate the hand tape applicator. Furthermore, an applicator member, preferably comprising an application roller, is operatively supported by the angled nose portion of the frame so that a space will be defined between the applicator member and a roll of tape when it is supported on the roll support means, wherein the space is positioned and of sufficient size so that when a roll of tape is supported on the roll support means and the roll of tape is held above one surface of an object, the application member can be positioned against another surface of the object that is perpendicular to the first surface with a corner of the object within the space. A guide means, preferably defined by at least one guide roller, is also provided for defining a tape guide path from the roll support means to the applicator member, and a cutting means is positioned adjacent to the applicator member for cutting the length of tape from the roll.

A roll-up covering for motor vehicles comprised of a rectangular main section 10 and side flaps 14 with antenna slits 18, 20 in either to accommodate antennas. A cylinder 16 is fixed perpendicular to the length of the main section and located between the main section and the top of the vehicle while in use. The side flaps 14 partially cover the side of the vehicle while in use and fold over the top of the main section for removal. Combined, the covering rolls around the cylinder for compact storage. Rear adjustable straps 26 anchor the covering in the rear compartment of the vehicle for theft prevention and as a means of changing the fit of the covering. Front elastic straps 11 and side elastic straps 12, in conjunction with the rear adjustable straps and the cylinder, tension the main section and side flaps to provide an airspace 34. The airspace between the covering material and the majority of the top vehicle surfaces provides for insulation and ventilation.
