Abstract: Provided are an imaging device and an image data generation method which are capable of reducing noise generated in an image in which crosstalk is removed. In an imaging device (1) that captures images corresponding to optical systems at one time by using an imaging lens (10) including a plurality of optical system of which imaging characteristics are different and an image sensor (100) including a plurality of light receiving sensors of which crosstalk ratios are different in each pixel, the number (m) of light receiving sensors included in each pixel of the image sensor (100) is larger than the number (n) of optical systems included in the imaging lens (10) (m>n). Accordingly, it is possible to reduce noise generated in an image in which crosstalk is removed.

Abstract: The present invention provides an imaging device capable of greatly reducing the assignment number of light reception cells assigned to each microlens of an array lens and increasing the number of pixels of images having different characteristics that are captured simultaneously. One aspect of the present invention is an imaging device that includes an imaging optical system including a center optical system (wide-angle lens) and an annular optical system (telescopic lens) that share an optical axis, an image sensor, and an array lens arranged on the incidence side of the image sensor and including microlenses (pupil imaging lenses). The array lens causes annular pupil images corresponding to the annular optical system adjacent to each other among a center pupil image and annular pupil images formed on the image sensor by the respective microlenses to partially overlap each other on the image sensor.

Abstract: The type of lens attached to the lens attaching portion is determined. In a case of the multiple-property lens being attached to the lens attaching portion, a plurality of images corresponding to the plurality of areas is generated. In a case of the typical lens being attached thereto, one image is generated from imaging signals of all pixels of the directional sensor. In the case of the multiple-property lens being attached to the lens attaching portion, performed is correction of removing, from an image generated in correspondence with one area of the plurality of areas, influence of a luminous flux passing an area other than the one area. In the case of the typical lens being attached thereto, a difference in sensitivity for each pixel of a plurality of types of pixels is corrected.
