Pixel electrodes (2012, 2112, 2212) are connected respectively to the pixel circuits in the array and coupled to read out photocharge from respective areas of the photosensitive medium to the pixel circuits. The pixel electrodes in a peripheral region of the array are spatially offset, relative to the regular grid, in respective directions away from a center of the array.

摘要: A focus adjustment control apparatus is provided which includes: a focus detection unit that calculates an evaluation value with regard to contrast of an image via an optical system to detect a focus adjustment state of the optical system; an acquisition unit that acquires from a lens barrel at least one of a maximum value and a minimum value of an image plane movement coefficient that represents correspondence relationship between a movement amount of a focus adjustment lens included in the optical system and a movement amount of an image plane; and a control unit that uses at least one of the maximum value and the minimum value of the image plane movement coefficient to determine a drive speed for the focus adjustment lens when the focus detection unit detects the focus adjustment state.

摘要: An image capture device, pixel, and method of determining a focus setting for an image capture device are described. The image capture device includes an imaging area and a pixel readout circuit. The imaging area includes a plurality of pixels. The plurality of pixels includes multiple pixels in which each pixel of the multiple pixels includes a two-dimensional array of photodetectors and a microlens. Each photodetector in the array of photodetectors for a pixel is electrically isolated from each other photodetector in the array of photodetectors. A microlens is disposed over the array of photodetectors for the pixel. The pixel readout circuit includes, per pixel, a shared readout circuit associated with the array of photodetectors for the pixel and a set of charge transfer transistors. Each charge transfer transistor is operable to connect a photodetector in the array of photodetectors to the shared readout circuit.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to a solid-state imaging device, a method for manufacturing the same, and an electronic apparatus capable of improving sensitivity while suppressing degradation of color mixture. The solid-state imaging device includes an anti-reflection portion having a moth-eye structure provided on a boundary surface on a light-receiving surface side of a photoelectric conversion region of each pixel arranged two-dimensionally, and an inter-pixel light-blocking portion provided below the boundary surface of the anti-reflection portion to block incident light. In addition, the photoelectric conversion region is a semiconductor region, and the inter-pixel light-blocking portion has a trench structure obtained by digging the semiconductor region in a depth direction at a pixel boundary. The techniques according to the present disclosure can be applied to, for example, a solid-state imaging device of a rear surface irradiation type.

摘要: A solid-state imaging device includes pixels forming pixel rows, and a scanning circuit that performs a reset operation of a photoelectric converter and a readout operation of a pixel signal based on charges generated by the photoelectric converter including charge transfer from the photoelectric converter to the holding unit. The pixel rows include imaging rows and focus detection rows. The scanning circuit performs an image capture scan of the imaging rows and a focus detection scan of the focus detection rows, independently, such that signals of the focus detection rows are output after signals from the imaging rows. The scanning circuit performs the focus detection scan such that the reset operation on the focus detection row does not overlap with a charge transfer period on an imaging row belonging to a unit pixel row neighboring a unit pixel row to which a focus detection row under the reset operation belongs.

摘要: A focus detection device includes a field lens, a secondary image forming lens configured to capture a light flux from the field lens and to form a pair of images from light fluxes from different pupil positions, and a photoelectric conversion device including a pixel region including at least one focus detection region pair that detects the pair of images. The photoelectric conversion device includes pixels arranged in the pixel region in a matrix. The photoelectric conversion device includes control lines each supplying control signal to at least a part of pixels on a corresponding row, and output lines each receiving a signal from at least a part of pixels on a corresponding column. At least a pair of the pixels connected to a common control line or a common output line form the at least one focus detection region pair and output signals to be used for focus detection.
