Abstract:
An apparatus for the production of a device for detaching portions of a planer workpiece of cardboard used in the folding box industry. The workpiece contains at least one blank for a folding box and adjoining waste pieces which are removed from the plane of the workpiece by the device. The device is formed of a plurality of breaking out pins inserted into a breaking out plate, the pins corresponding in position to the positions of the waste pieces of the blank. The apparatus includes a pressing element for pressing each breaking out pin into the breaking out plate and a magazine device for feeding the pins to the pressing element. A guide piece is associated with the magazine device and the pressing element which acts to guide each pin from the magazine. The guide piece is provided in the feed path of the of the magazine and is provided with a recess for receiving each individual breaking out pin.
Abstract:
Apparatus for removing break-out portions and in particular waste pieces from a sheet of material which contains blanks or the like and which rests on a break-out surface in such a way that the break-out portion extends over an aperture in the break-out surface and is pressed downwardly through the aperture under the pressure of at least one break-out member, in particular a break-out pin. Associated with the break-out member beneath the break-out portion is a support which is guided in the direction of movement of the break-out member. The support is a surface which is springy and/or movable within the aperture at least partially into a position at a spacing relative to the break-out surface and which in its rest position engages beneath the waste piece in the sheet of material and which is adapted to be transferred into an inclined position relative to the sheet of material upon movement of the waste piece by the break-out member, in particular upon downward movement of the waste piece.
Abstract:
The present invention is concerned with a method of separating and stacking sheets of paper, cardboard and the like, which are delivered from a sheet punching machine and consist of useful and waste portions connected together by small fillets, comprising the steps of laying and separating a specific number of sheets on a severing table of a useful portion separating station; interrupting the supply of sheets; lowering the table with a stack of separated sheets; withdrawing the table from under the stack and laying the stack on a pallet situated therebelow; setting the table in place and raising same; removing the pallet with the stack and introducing a new pallet with simultaneous resumption of the cycle of steps.Apparatus for carrying out the method comprises a supply device upstream of a sheet-punching machine for supplying punched, but not yet separated, sheets on to a plane severing surface, severing tools movable upwards and downwards on linkages and arranged above the plane supporting surface, and a plane stacking surface for taking up the stack of separated sheets, the plane severing surface being formed by a severing table or the uppermost sheet of a stack of sheets lying on the severing table, the severing table being adjustable in height, the plane stacking surface being formed by a pallet, means for moving the pallet into and from below the severing table and said pallet being adjustable in height, and a device for lateral displacement of the severing table and holding back the stack of sheets in a position lying outside the limits of the pallet and for putting the severing table again into position above the stack of sheets.
Abstract:
In a method of and apparatus for breaking away of prepunched pieces from a curved or arched sheet of material, the sheet is applied to a block, and the pieces of material to be broken away are individually engaged between a pointed component acting on the upper surface of the sheet and a counter pressure mounting support acting on the lower surface of the sheet. Said pointed component on downward movement penetrates said upper surface only to the extent necessary to prevent relative lateral movement between the two, and said counterpressure mounting support supports oppositely disposed edge portions of the piece of material to be broken away, continuing downward movement of said pointed component causing said piece of material to bend under load to the extent that it loses its holds on said edge portions and is pushed through said mounting support to be released from said pointed component on leaving said mounting support.
Abstract:
A hold-down device (10; 10a) for a punching die (100), wherein the punching die (100) comprises at least one punching or cutting blade (12; 33) which is movable up and down and which serves for punching out an opening (1) or for cutting off a plurality of layers (4 to 6) of a carton, a corrugated board (7) or the like, wherein the punching or cutting blade (12; 33), when interacting with the carton or the corrugated board (7) or the like, compresses the carton or corrugated board (7) or the like, wherein the hold-down device (10; 10a) is arranged at a distance from the at least one punching or cutting blade (12; 33), wherein the hold-down device (10; 10a) is arranged to be movable up and down and wherein the hold-down device (10; 10a), during its downward movement, comes into operative connection with the carton or the corrugated board (7) or the like and moves at least the topmost layer (4) in the direction of the at least one punching or cutting blade (12; 33).
Abstract:
Device for punching blanks from a planar part (10), having a punching blade (20) attached in a support plate (22) and projecting from the latter as a blade or cutting line, and profile strips which flank the punching blade (20), are made of a material that is flexible to a limited extent and are each inserted into a channel profile (50) in a positive-locking manner with a region of their cross section, wherein both the channel profile (50) and the profile strip, as insert profile (70), are formed from a material that is elastic to a limited extent.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a device for removing break-off pieces (12), especially waste parts, from a sheet of material containing blanks or similar flat pieces. An abutment device (20) which can move in a longitudinal direction is associated with a break-off tool (40, 42). The abutment device protrudes into a through opening (16). Even when said device is in a rest position it supports the break-off component or waste part of the sheet of material (10) in an approximately parallel position. When the waste part moves, its position can be modified by the break-off tool and brought into a specific angle of inclination in relation to the sheet of material, especially when the waste part is lowered.
