Abstract:
A composition, in particular a cosmetic composition, which can especially be in the form of an emulsion, a gel or a vesicle dispersion, the said composition comprising a pulverulent phase in an amount of less than or equal to 80% by weight relative to the total weight of the composition, this composition comprising at least one pigment and at least one antiperspirant. Use of such a composition in cosmetics, in particular for make-up, in order to improve the staying power of the color of the composition.
Abstract:
Composition for the skin, semi-mucous membranes and/or mucous membranes, comprising a polymer system capable of forming a film having a hardness of less than 50; and a make-up process and a non-therapeutic treatment process for the skin, semi-mucous membranes and/or mucous membranes, comprising applying a composition according to the invention thereto.
Abstract:
A non-migrating composition containing a solid, partially crosslinked, elastomeric organopolysiloxane and a fatty phase containing at least one non-volatile oil and at least one wax, particularly for the care or make up the lips and the face. This composition is gentle to apply, spreads easily, is non-sticky and does not dry the skin or the lips.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a gel containing an aqueous phase, a hydrophilic polymer as a gelling agent, a colouring material which is soluble or dispersible in the aqueous phase and at least one organopolysiloxane solubilized in the aqueous phase. This gel is usable in the cosmetics field for making up both the face and the human body.
Abstract:
Composition in which the silicone wax(es) is (are) dispersed in an aqueous phase containing two water-soluble acrylic polymers; the first type of polymer(s) consists of at least one copolymer of a C.sub.3 -C.sub.6 monoethylenic acid or of its anhydride, and the second type of polymer(s) consists of at least one acrylic acid polymer or one of its salts. The presence of these two water-soluble acrylic polymers allows the dispersion of silicone wax(es) to be stabilised.
Abstract:
Novel fragrance compositions containing: (a) from 11% to 60% by weight of a mixture of odoriferous materials, (b) from 51% to 80% by weight of ethanol and (c) from 3% to 30% by weight of decamethyltetrasiloxane, each based on the total weight of the composition, retain a visual appearance and olfactory characteristics which are stable over time and have a flash point generally of greater than or equal to 15° C.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a transparent or translucent cosmetic emulsion comprising an aqueous phase, a fatty phase and a surfactant, the said fatty phase containing a miscible mixture of at least one cosmetic oil and of at least one volatile fluoro compound, the latter compound being present in a proportion such that the refractive index of the fatty phase is equal to ±0.05 of that of the aqueous phase. The invention also relates to the process for preparing the emulsion. Use of the emulsion in skincare, hair conditioning and antisun protection and/or artificial tanning.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a dermatologic or cosmetic composition, including a liquid fatty phase, and, as surfactant and thickener for the liquid fatty phase, particles of a crosslinked elastomeric solid polyorganosiloxane containing at least one oxyalkylenated group. Another embodiment of the invention relates to methods of using particles of a crosslinked elastomeric solid polyorganosiloxane containing at least one oxyethylenated group. The present invention is especially suitable for a care or make-up composition for human skin and lips, and overcomes the various drawbacks in known compositions. In particular, the present invention provides a composition for human skin and lips that results in a film that does not transfer; that has better cosmetic properties, freshness and matte-effect properties; and that is desirably longer-lasting than conventional “transfer-resistant” products, in particular the properties of slipperiness, of not feeling taut and of not drying out the lips, of having good staying power over time, particularly with respect to the color (no color change over time) and of not migrating, in particular into the folds of the skin. The invention applies not only to make-up products for human lips and skin, but also to care and/or treatment products for human lips and skin. The composition of the invention can also be applied to the scalp.
Abstract:
Cosmetic compositions comprising, in a cosmetically acceptable medium, at least one film-forming polymer and at least one water-superabsorbent polymer in the form of water-swelled particles, the mean size of which is at least about 0.5 mm. Procedures for making-up a keratinous material comprising applying the composition onto the keratinous material.
Abstract:
Homogeneous anhydrous composition comprising in combination at least one fluorous oil and at least one fluorous wax having a carbonaceous skeleton. This composition finds an application in the preparation of makeup or care products.
