摘要: By providing a liquid crystal cell nearly at the position of the clear vision of the view finder optical system together with a means for masking the display part of the liquid crystal cell the noise appearing on the boundary between the display part and the object view field is eliminated while the invasion of dusts is avoided, whereby further by means of the liquid crystal cell the alarm for the improper exposure, the alarm of the consumption of the power source battery and so on are displayed besides the photographic informations.

摘要: An exposure control system for daylight and flash photography. In the flash mode with computer flash light device, the system accommodates for a variation in the otherwise fixed parameter of diaphragm aperture by taking into account the camera-to-subject distance. In one embodiment of the invention, the diaphragm value and the integrated flash light are varied with distance at equal rates to each other, reaching the maximum possible values simultaneously at a distance twice as long as that when the diaphragm is fixed. In another embodiment, these variables are increased one at a time, reaching the maximum value, after which the other is increased to effect an equivalent result.

摘要: In the disclosed viewfinder, a focusing plate receives light from an objective via a reflex mirror, and after focusing, passes light to an eyepiece via a penta prism. A by-pass optical system receives light from outside the view field of the viewfinder and directs the light through an information carrier outside the optical path of the photographic light and into the penta prism so that the information can be displayed close to the view field of the viewfinder.

摘要: A camera includes a viewfinder with an indicator having two opposing substrates sandwiching a liquid crystal between them. One substrate includes a common electrode arrangement with a plurality of electrodes. The other substrate includes a segmented electrode arrangement with a number of electrodes facing the respective electrodes of the common electrode arrrangement. Short-circuit connectors connect predetermined electrodes in the segmented electrode arrangement. A first contactor has a number of conductors connected to the respective electrodes of the segmented electrode arrangement to deliver predetermined drive signals thereto. At least one of the short-circuiting connectors is arranged at the input portion of the first contactor. A second contactor with a number of conductors is connected to respective electrodes of the common electrode arrangement so as to deliver predetermined drive signals thereto.

摘要: An electromagnetic shutter control device for controlling opening and closing operation of the shutter of a compact folding camera includes a bobbin having a magnetic winding therearound, a stationary permanent magnet over which the bobbin fits for magnetically actuated movement in a longitudinal direction, and guide elements for constraining movement of the bobbin in the longitudinal direction only. The permanent magnet acts to maintain the bobbin in a normal position at the terminal end of its movement coinciding with the closed position of the shutter. Energization of the magnetic winding actuates the bobbin in order to thereby actuate the shutter to the open position. The bobbin and the permanent magnet are particularly formed with a rectangular configuration so that the electromagnetic control device may be shaped to enhance and facilitate the compactness of a camera with which it is utilized.

摘要: A liquid crystal display device for a camera includes a display member having liquid crystal material for providing a display of photographic information, and a focusing glass for forming an image of an object which is to be photographed. A mask is arranged to face the display member and the focusing glass, the mask including a first transparent part which faces a display part of the display member, and a second transparent part which faces the object image formed on the focusing glass. A light shading part is provided between the first and second transparent parts of the mask to shade an end part of the display member from light. The mask enables view finder optics provided in the camera to display a rectangular view field having straight sides to the camera user. This is accomplished by forming boundary lines between the first and second transparent parts and the light shading part of the mask, wherein each boundary line substantially forms an arc having a center located on a straight line which is perpendicular to one of a long and short side of the view field, and which line passes through the center of the view field. The arcuate boundary lines overcome distortion produced by the view finder optics so that they are visually recognized as being straight.

摘要: In the disclosed circuit, an electromagnetically driven shutter is opened and closed by an electromagnetic drive device. A detector senses the current through or the voltage across an exciting member of the electromagnetic drive. A drive circuit is controlled by a comparator which compares the output of a constant voltage source with the output of the detector. The drive circuit is regulated so that when the shutter is opened and closed, the current is maintained at predetermined values so as to always keep the shutter characteristics constant.
