Abstract: A transmitting assembly (114, 214, 334) configured to transmit electric power in a universal wireless charging device (102, 200, 302) is presented. The transmitting assembly (114, 214, 334) includes a first coil (116, 216, 316) embedded in a printed circuit board (220) and configured to transmit a first AC voltage signal having a first frequency. Also, the transmitting assembly (114, 214, 334) includes a second coil (118, 218, 318) disposed on the printed circuit board (220) and configured to transmit a second AC voltage signal having a second frequency, wherein the second frequency is different from the first frequency, and wherein the first AC voltage signal having the first frequency and the second AC voltage signal having the second frequency are used to wirelessly charge a plurality of receiver devices (104, 106) having different frequency standards.

The wireless charging device (102) includes a transmitter detection coil (130) configured to receive a first alternating current (AC) voltage signal having a characteristic associated with a receiver device (104). Also, the wireless charging device (102) includes a control unit (112) coupled to the transmitter detection coil (130) and configured to detect the receiver device (104) based on the characteristic of the first AC voltage signal. Further, the wireless charging device (102) includes a driver unit (108) coupled to the control unit (112) and configured to convert a direct current (DC) voltage signal of an input power to a second AC voltage signal if the receiver device (104) is detected. In addition, the wireless charging device (102) includes a power transmission coil (116) configured to wirelessly transmit the second AC voltage signal to the receiver device (104).

Abstract: A charging pad includes a power drive unit and a transmitting unit. The power drive unit includes a first oscillator to generate a first AC voltage signal having a first frequency, and a first amplifier to amplify the first AC voltage signal. Also, the power drive unit includes a second oscillator to generate a second AC voltage signal having a second frequency, and a second amplifier to amplify the second AC voltage signal. Additionally, the power drive unit includes an adder to combine the amplified first AC voltage signal and the amplified second AC voltage signal. Furthermore, the transmitting unit includes a first frequency coil configured to transmit the amplified first AC voltage signal having the first frequency, and a second frequency coil configured to transmit the amplified second AC voltage signal having the second frequency.

Abstract: A wireless power transfer system is disclosed. The wireless power transfer system includes a first converting unit for converting a first DC voltage of an input power to a first AC voltage, a contactless power transfer unit for transmitting the input power having the first AC voltage, and a second converting unit for transmitting the power having a second DC voltage corresponding to the first AC voltage to an electric load. Additionally, the wireless power transfer system includes an active voltage tuning unit for controlling the second DC voltage based on a difference between the second DC voltage and a reference voltage and at least one among a difference between the resonant frequency and the constant operating frequency and a difference between a phase angle of the first AC voltage and a phase angle of an AC current.

Abstract: A gate driver unit is presented. The gate driver unit includes a first power exchanging coil operatively coupled to a power source. The gate driver unit includes a second power exchanging coil configured to receive power from the first power exchanging coil via a magnetic field and a field focusing element disposed between the first power exchanging coil and the second power exchanging coil and configured to focus the magnetic field onto the second power exchanging coil.
