Abstract: An inflation control system for an inflatable is disclosed. In various embodiments, the inflation control system includes a source of a pressurized gas; a valve module connected to the source of the pressurized gas and configured to control a flow of the pressurized gas to the inflatable; a stretch sensor configured for mounting to the inflatable and to provide a real-time stretch data of an elastic deformation of the inflatable; and a controller configured to receive the real-time stretch data and to transmit a control signal to the valve module to control the flow of the pressurized gas to the inflatable.

Abstract: Disclosed is an egress pack for egressing a craft. The egress pack includes an egress aid defining a cavity and an inflation port. The egress pack includes an inflation duct connected with the inflation port for supplying gas to the cavity. The inflation duct defines a flow direction oriented to supply the cavity. The inflation duct defines a first ingress port defined by a first boundary and defining a primary flow path in the flow direction. The inflation duct defines a second ingress port defining a secondary flow path in fluid communication with the primary flow path. The inflation duct defines a divider disposed between the first ingress port and the second ingress port that coincides with the first boundary.

Abstract: Examples described herein provide a computer-implemented method that includes receiving static data about an aircraft. The method further includes receiving dynamic data about flight conditions for a flight of the aircraft. The method further includes determining, based on the static data and the dynamic data, an amount of air pressure and a volumetric air flow to apply from an electric pump to a deicing device. The method further includes controlling the electric pump to cause the electric pump to apply the amount of air pressure and the volumetric air flow to the deicing device.

Abstract: An inflation assembly for an evacuation system may comprise a manifold defining an interior volume and a plurality of inflators fluidly coupled to the manifold. Each inflator of the plurality of inflators may include a solid gas generating material and an igniter configured to ignite in response to receiving an ignite signal. The solid gas generating material may be configured to generate a gas in response to an ignition of the igniter.

Abstract: A system for monitoring compressed fluid sources of an evacuation assembly may comprise a controller and a tangible, non-transitory memory configured to communicate with the controller. The controller may perform operations, which may comprise receiving a series of first pressure measurements from a first sensor system, receiving a series of second pressure measurements from a second sensor system, calculating a first pressure trend using the series of first pressure measurements, calculating a second pressure trend using the series of second pressure measurements, and comparing each of the first pressure trend and the second pressure trend to a threshold pressure trend.
