Abstract: This application discloses a multicast transmission method. The multicast transmission method includes: a first network device receives a first data packet and first indication information, where the first indication information indicates a sequence of the first data packet in at least one data packet; the first network device sets a sequence number of a first protocol layer of the first data packet based on the first indication information; and the first network device sends the first data packet to a terminal device. In this way, all data packets received by the terminal device include corresponding sequence numbers of the first protocol layers.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention disclose a data processing method, an apparatus, and a system. The method includes: receiving, by a terminal device, first configuration information sent by a network device, where the first configuration information includes preemption indication information, and the preemption indication information indicates a preemption capability of a first logical channel; before multiplexing of a MAC PDU is completed or a MAC PDU generated by multiplexing is transmitted to a physical layer, when a MAC layer has a first data unit, preempting, by the terminal device for the first data unit based on the preemption indication information, a resource allocated by the terminal device for a second data unit, where the first data unit corresponds to the first logical channel, and the second data unit corresponds to a second logical channel; and multiplexing, by the terminal device, the first data unit by using the preempted resource.

Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide a message transmission method, a device, and a system. The method includes: sending an RRC downlink message; preallocating and sending, within a time range of an RRC procedure delay of the RRC downlink message, an uplink grant of an RRC uplink response message corresponding to the RRC downlink message; and receiving, on an uplink resource indicated by the uplink grant, the RRC uplink response message sent by UE from an RRC layer. According to the message transmission method, the device, and the system in the embodiments of this application, a delay generated between receiving the RRC downlink message and feeding back the RRC uplink response message by the UE can be reduced, so that a control plane delay can meet a shorter delay requirement.

Abstract: Example communication methods and apparatus in a wireless network are described. One example communication method includes establishing dual connections to a first access network device and a second access network device by a terminal device. A connection that is between the terminal device and the first access network device and that is included in the dual connections is a radio resource control (RRC) connection. The terminal device receives first configuration information sent by the first access network device. The first configuration information includes signaling radio bearer (SRB) configuration information of the second access network device and a trigger condition for using the SRB configuration information. When the trigger condition is met, the terminal device uses the SRB configuration information of the second access network device to establish an RRC connection to the second access network device.
