Abstract: This application provides a communication method, a network device, and a relay device for relay devices to discover one another. A first network device determines a first resource, where the first resource includes a resource used by a second network device to send a first signal to a second relay device, or the first resource includes a resource configured by the second network device for a first signal with zero power. The first network device sends first configuration information to a first relay device, where the first configuration information is used by the first relay device to determine a second resource for sending a second signal, and the second resource is a part or all of the first resource.

Abstract: A communication operation carried out by a base station is described herein. The operation includes generating first indication information. The first indication information indicates configuration information of a first resource. The operation further includes generating second indication information. The second indication information indicates a relationship between a second resource and the first resource to a terminal. The operation further includes sending the first indication information and the second indication information, so that the terminal determines its own receiving resource or sending resource. When the base station indicates the receiving resource or the sending resource of the terminal resource indication overheads can be reduced.

Abstract: A measurement and reporting method is provided. The method includes: receiving, by a terminal, a measurement configuration from a base station, the measurement configuration indicates a plurality of measurement objects to be measured; obtaining measurement results and channel characteristic values respectively corresponding to the plurality of measurement objects; and sending channel characteristic values and measurement results respectively corresponding to some or all of the plurality of measurement objects, or group identification information and measurement results respectively corresponding to some or all of the plurality of measurement objects, where different groups correspond to different channel characteristic values. The base station determines, from a plurality of measurement object groups, a plurality of target measurement objects used to send data to the terminal. Different groups correspond to different channel characteristic values. Therefore the plurality of target measurement objects from the plurality of measurement object groups are not easily shielded at the same time.

Abstract: This application provides an information transmission method and a communications device. A first communications device sends first indication information to a second communications device, where the first indication information indicates a frequency resource used by the second communications device to send data in a time unit and a frequency resource used by the second communications device to receive data in the time unit, the frequency resource used to send data and the frequency resource used to receive data belong to a same frequency band, the frequency resource used to send data and the frequency resource used to receive data are differentiated based on frequencies in the time unit, and the frequency band is a segment of continuous frequency resources in frequency domain. In the foregoing information transmission method, the first communications device can flexibly allocate the frequency resources based on a network requirement, thereby improving resource utilization.
