    摘要: Embodiments of this application provide a method and an apparatus for transmitting channel state information (CSI). The CSI is a part of uplink control information (UCI) and it includes a first quantity of bits. The method includes: determining a threshold code rate according to a modulation and coding scheme (MCS) index when the CSI is to be transmitted on a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) without uplink data; determining a second quantity of bits according to the threshold code rate and the first quantity of bits, where the second quantity of bits is less than or equal to the first quantity of bits; and transmitting the second quantity of bits of the CSI on the PUSCH.

One example method includes configuring, by a network device, a first bandwidth part BP and a second BP for a terminal device. The network device then sends a first TB to the terminal device. When the first BP and the second BP correspond to a same physical parameter, the first TB is mapped onto the first BP and the second BP. When the first BP and the second BP correspond to different physical parameters, the network device further sends a second TB to the terminal device, where the first TB is mapped onto the first BP, and the second TB is mapped onto the second BP.

    摘要: A secure access method performed by an authentication server includes receiving a first message from a non-3GPP access device. The method also includes performing fast re-authentication with the terminal when determining that fast re-authentication is allowed. The method further includes sending a second message to a home subscriber server. The second message carries a registration type identifier, an identifier of the terminal, and an address of the authentication server. The registration type identifier is used to indicate that current secure access of the terminal is secure access using a fast re-authentication procedure. The method additionally includes receiving a registration success indication from the home subscriber server. The method also includes sending an access success indication to the terminal based on the registration success indication.

The method includes: sending, by a base station, N signals and N pieces of physical random access channel PRACH resource indication information, where N is an integer greater than or equal to 2; and receiving, by the base station, a random access preamble sequence of the user equipment on PRACH resources indicated by the N pieces of PRACH resource indication information. Based on the foregoing solution, a quantity of random access preamble sequences sent by the user equipment is reduced, and uplink access complexity is reduced.

    摘要: Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a message feedback method and apparatus for carrier aggregation. The method includes: receiving, by a terminal in a first downlink subframe on a carrier aggregation group, a data packet sent by a base station, where the carrier aggregation group includes a first carrier and a second carrier; determining a first timing, based on a subframe configuration for the carrier aggregation group and a mapping relationship between subframe configurations for carrier aggregation groups and timings; determining a first uplink subframe from subframes on the carrier aggregation group based on the first timing; and sending, to the base station, a feedback message in the first uplink subframe. In this way, the first uplink subframe is determined on the entire carrier group for sending the feedback message, and a selectable range is larger.

A network node sends reference signals by mapping the reference signals to at least one resource unit, where the at least one resource unit includes a plurality of sub-resource units; and the network node receives, from the terminal, measurement information related to part of the plurality of sub-resource units. The terminal selects, based on configuration information of the reference signals, part of the measurement information to report, so that a quantity of channel resources occupied by the measurement information is reduced.
