摘要: An outdoor light with diffusing and translucent light panels movably attached to a mounting base electronically coupled to a lighting controller. Each movable panel is positioned adjacent to a light source that is electronically connected to the lighting controller. Each panel is also attached to a heat sink which is adjacent to and in thermal engagement with the light source. In one embodiment, the heat sink is centered on the light panel. The heat sink may be hollowed or wrapped around the light panel for multidirectional light distribution. In other embodiments, the outdoor light includes various sensors and remote-control features electronically coupled to the lighting controller.

摘要: The present disclosure sets forth a motion sensing outdoor security light with the flexibility of being mounted to either a wall structure or to an eave or ceiling structure. An adjustable spherical motion sensor housing may be provided with the rotationally adjustable outdoor security light, allowing easy adjustment of motion detection ranges under different mounting schemes without comprising the aesthetic design of the light. The adjustable spherical motion sensor housing may also provide an enlarged horizontal field of view for better performance.

The lighting controller can sense the appropriate connected supply and automatically connect to three different power supplies which include house voltage connection through a typical junction box, a remote solar charging station, and on-board batteries that can be used as a third backup power supply. Additional implementations include power outage detection and backup illumination along with low voltage power supply from a mounting structure.

摘要: The present disclosure sets forth an outdoor security light with the flexibility of being mounted to either a wall structure or to an eave or ceiling structure. The security light can be adjusted for each installation without the necessity of changing hardware elements of the security luminaire. Disclosed designs include a luminaire housing having a housing mount which is removably received within a housing mount attached to a structure. An electrical interface between the two may be provided to provide electrical power to the luminaire housing and provide communication therebetween.
