摘要： A touch sensor is installed inside a liquid crystal display panel to sense a touch operation and includes a light sensing part including a photodiode, a capacitance sensing part including a liquid crystal capacitor, and a sensing signal output part. The light sensing part generates a control signal corresponding to a variation in the amount of external light when the liquid crystal display panel is touched. The capacitance sensing part varies the control signal based on a variation in the capacitance of the liquid crystal capacitor when the liquid crystal display panel is touched. The sensing signal output part generates a sensing signal in response to the control signal and determines an output timing of the sensing signal.

摘要： A display device includes a light emitting diode, and first and second driving transistors connected between a driving voltage and the light emitting diode to supply driving electric current to the light emitting diode. A control voltage or control voltages differentiated in polarity from each other is/are applied to control terminals of the first and the second driving transistors. The first driving transistor has a control electrode located below a semiconductor layer of the light emitting diode while the second driving transistor has a control electrode located over the semiconductor layer. Two driving transistors are formed at each pixel, and an area occupied thereof within the pixel is reduced. Control voltages differentiated in polarity from each other are applied to the respective driving transistors, substantially preventing deterioration of the driving transistors.

摘要： In a control board and a display apparatus, the control board includes a timing controller, and first and second connectors. The timing controller receives a first external image control signal having one of a first and a second frequency, and selectively receives a second external image control signal having the first frequency when the first external image control signal has the first frequency. The timing controller selects one of the first and second frequencies based on the first and second external image control signals to output an image driving signal. The first connector connects the timing controller to an external video system to transfer the first external image control signal to the timing controller. The second connector connects the timing controller to the external video system to transfer the second external image control signal to the timing controller. Thus, the control board is commonly used in the first and second frequencies.

The image signal processing unit includes a first image interpolation unit and second image interpolation unit, which receive the (n−1)-th frame and the n-th frame and output a 2× image signal including at least one interpolated frame.
