    摘要: An inkjet recording apparatus includes an absorber configured to abut a nozzle surface of a line head to absorb ink adhered on the nozzle surface. A portion of the absorber which corresponds to an opening of a nozzle is removed. The absorber is configured to abut the nozzle surface except for a portion near the nozzle. Ink remaining on the nozzle surface is absorbed by the absorber. Thus, when the nozzle surface is wiped with a blade, accumulation of a large amount of remaining ink is prevented.

    摘要: In order to maintain ink supply pressure to a recording head constant while supplying the recording head with ink with an minimum of air entrained therein, the invention provides an ink supplier which comprises a main ink reservoir, a subsidiary ink reservoir connected to the main ink reservoir for replenishment with ink from the main ink reservoir and a means whereby a position head of the ink liquid level in the subsidiary ink reservoir is maintained substantially constant relative to a printing head face of the recording head. Included preferably also are a deaerator associated with the subsidiary ink reservoir for removing air from ink therein and a float floating on ink in the subsidiary ink reservoir. Further, in order for a mechanism that adjusts the position head for ink supply to the recording head to be made light equipped and manufactured at reduced cost, the invention provides an ink supplier that comprises a back pressure reservoir connected between the main ink reservoir and the recording head and adapted to maintain a height of the ink liquid level therein substantially constant against an amount of ink consumption by the recording head and a means for adjusting the back pressure reservoir in its vertical position, thereby adjusting a position head of the ink liquid level in the back pressure reservoir relative to a printing head face of the recording head.

    摘要: An optical disk device for use as a mass storage device includes an axially and angularly movable support mounted on a hollow shaft and supporting a condensing lens that converges a laser beam onto an optical disk mounted in position. A substantially cylindrical side yoke is disposed concentrically around the hollow shaft, and a magnet is coupled to said side yoke, the magnet and the side yoke jointly providing a magnetic circuit. A tracking coil is mounted on the support, the side yoke extending through the tracking coil in magnetically coacting relationship to the magnetic circuit. When an electric current flows through the tracking coil, the support and hence the condensing lens are angularly moved in a wide angular range about shaft to access a desired track on the optical disk. The condensing lens is disposed off the shaft, but is spaced from the shaft by a relatively small distance. Therefore, the moment of inertia of the support with the condensing lens supported thereon is relatively small for quick tracking control and short track access time.

    摘要: For a line head in an ink jet recorder wherein the line head comprises a plurality of long narrow rectangular plate like nozzle heads which are inclined together in a direction relative to that in which they are disposed side by side in a line in the line head, the invention is designed to be capable of wiping ink as well that gets into gaps between adjacent nozzle heads. To this end, an elastically deformable blade 13 is used that is brought into pressure contact with nozzle faces of a line head 23 and moved in a direction in which nozzle heads 24 are inclined while maintaining the blade 13 under pressure to cause it to be deformed against the nozzle faces as it is moved. Also, contaminants adhered on the blade by the wiping action is flushed with cleaning liquid rather than by a contaminant removal member. To this end, a line head wiping apparatus for an ink jet recorder having a line head 23 comprising a plurality of nozzle heads disposed in a line for wiping nozzle faces of the line head 23 by moving a blade 13 in contact with the nozzle faces, includes: a means whereby the blade 13 is movable between a wiping position at which it is brought into contact with the nozzle faces of the line head 23 and a standby position at which it is held away from the line head; and a spray nozzle means disposed opposite to an end of the blade at the standby position for spraying a cleaning liquid onto the same.

    摘要: An inkjet recording apparatus ejects ink from recording heads to a recording paper, thereby attaching the ink to the medium for recording. The apparatus includes a carriage driving motor, a transfer motor, a scanner which reciprocates a carriage having the recording heads in a scanning direction, and a transfer machine. The transfer machine transfers the recording paper in a transfer direction perpendicular to the scanning direction. Both of the motors are located at approximately the same place in an ejecting direction of ink from the heads to the paper, and at the same height of a transfer path of the paper or on the carriage side with respect to the transfer path.
