Another object is to provide a light-emitting element, a light-emitting device, and an electronic appliance each having high emission efficiency. A heterocyclic compound represented by a general formula (G1), a light-emitting element, a light-emitting device, and an electronic appliance each formed using the heterocyclic compound represented by the general formula (G1) are provided. By use of the heterocyclic compound represented by the general formula (G1) to a light-emitting element, a light-emitting device, and an electronic appliance, the light-emitting element, the light-emitting device, and the electronic appliance can each have high emission efficiency.
