摘要: A pixel electrode (33), a gate bus line (31), and a source bus line (32) are formed while interposing an interlayer insulating film (35) therebetween. When viewed from the display surface side of a liquid crystal display panel, the pixel electrode (33), the gate bus line (31) and the source bus line (32) are arranged to overlap at least partially in the plan view. Consequently, in a liquid crystal display to which an OCB mode is applied, a uniform bend orientation can be attained over the entire screen even if transition nuclei are not generated in all pixels.

摘要: A warming-up system performing a catalytic converter warming-up method has an electric motor (1m) enabling a turbocharger (1) to increase the amount of air supplied to an internal combustion engine (2) regardless of the amount of exhaust gas flowing through a turbine (1t) of the turbocharger (1), a variable nozzle (1n) regulating the flow of exhaust gas through the turbine (1t), and an ECU (5) for controlling the operation of the electric motor (1m) and the variable nozzle (1n) and the amount of fuel supplied to the internal combustion engine (2). After the internal combustion engine (2) is started, the ECU (5) warms up the catalytic converter (4) by driving the electrical motor (1m) to forcibly rotate the turbine (1t), opening the variable nozzle (1n), and increasing fuel supply to the internal combustion engine (2).

摘要: A semiconductor device, having a memory cell region and a peripheral circuit region, includes an insulating film, having an upper surface, formed on a major surface of a semiconductor substrate to extend from the memory cell region to the peripheral circuit region. A capacitor lower electrode assembly is formed in the memory cell region to upwardly extend to substantially the same height as the upper surface of the insulating film on the major surface of the semiconductor substrate. Additionally, the lower electrode assembly includes first and second lower electrodes that are adjacent through the insulating film. A capacitor upper electrode is formed on the capacitor lower electrode through a dielectric film, to extend onto the upper surface of the insulating film. The capacitor lower electrode includes a capacitor lower electrode part having a top surface and a bottom surface. A semiconductor device organized as just described, permits implementation having a high density of integration while ensuring the capacitor exhibits high reliability and a constant capacitance.

摘要: A motor-driven supercharger is provided with a thrust bearing (30) rotatably supporting a thrust force applied to a turbine shaft (12). The thrust bearing (30) is constituted by a small-diameter disc-shaped thrust collar (32) rotating together with a turbine shaft, and a turbine side thrust bearing (34) and a compressor side thrust bearing (36) which block a movement in an axial direction of the thrust collar. The compressor side thrust bearing (36) has a small-diameter ring portion (37) including a thrust surface which is in contact with the thrust collar and has approximately an equal diameter, and a flange portion (38a) fixed to a housing (16) in the turbine side, and the small-diameter ring portion and the flange portion are arranged at different positions in an axial direction.

摘要: Embodiments in accordance with the present invention relate to identifying an address of user data to be registered as a defective user data address in disk defect inspection. In an embodiment of the present invention, in the state where a write element is positioned to a target position to execute data write processing to execute normal data read processing, a write element executes data write processing. If a predefined error occurs during the data write processing, an address of user data for which the normal data write processing is executed is estimated using the error-causing servo data as a target. In addition, an address of the servo data used as the target during the normal data write processing for the estimated address of the user data is identified. If the identified address of the servo data and the address of the error-causing servo data match with each other, the estimated address of the user data is registered as a defective user data address.

摘要: An intake structure in a fuel cell powered vehicle including a fuel cell using air and hydrogen as fuels, a supercharger for compressing the outside air and outputting the compressed air, a humidifier for humidifying the air compressed by the supercharger, a bypass passage for connecting the supercharger and the fuel cell to each other, and a bypass valve for opening and closing the bypass passage. The bypass valve is disposed on the outside relative to a straight line T1 connecting between the supercharger and the humidifier, and is disposed in the vicinity of the supercharger and the humidifier. With this configuration supercooling of a humidifier can be prevented, while eliminating the need for a warming member for the humidifier. Further, the intake system members can be efficiently arranged in the vehicle, while suppressing the pressure loss in the intake system.

摘要: In an automix system of network type, one of control equipment and audio equipment transmits time information data to the network, and the other of the control equipment and the audio equipment receives the time information data to thereby synchronize times with each other between the control equipment and the audio equipment. The audio equipment obtains time information when an operation device is manipulated based on the time information data received from the network and provides an operation event with that time information as a time stamp. The operation event provided with the time stamp is transmitted from the audio equipment to the control equipment via the network. This enables the control equipment to record the operation event with no time lag between the audio equipment and the control equipment.
