    摘要: An apparatus for viewing an oblique forward area of a vehicle whereby light incident from outside a passenger compartment is prevented from reflecting. The apparatus includes a sub-window pane supported by a front pillar and a sub-pillar, a mirror housing of a door mirror for displaying a rear of the vehicle, and a first reflective mirror for displaying an area in front and to one side of the vehicle. The first reflective mirror is provided to the mirror housing. The apparatus also includes a second reflective mirror for reflecting the light reflected by the first reflective mirror toward a driver. The sub-window pane is disposed further toward the outside in a vehicle widthwise direction than a line passing over cross-sectional vehicle-widthwise direction centers of the front pillar and the sub-pillar. An outside edge of the second reflective mirror is positioned in the vicinity of the sub-window pane.

    摘要: An on-vehicle multidirectional visual-recognition device includes a first visual-recognition mechanism including a front door window and a door mirror of a door mirror mechanism. A second visual-recognition mechanism includes a first mirror provided in a door-mirror housing of the door mirror mechanism so as to show a range from a side of a vehicle including an area below the door mirror mechanism to a front side of the vehicle. A sub window transmits light reflected by the first mirror and extends continuously from the front door window toward the front side of the vehicle via a frame. A second mirror reflects the light transmitted through the sub window toward a vehicle occupant. Brightness of the light to be received by the vehicle occupant is set substantially equal to brightness of the light at the first visual-recognition mechanism.

    摘要: A vision enhancement device for use in a vehicle that improves the frontward vision of an operator during operation. The device has two dividing lines set apart from each other on an instrument panel. These dividing lines show as false image lines on an inside surface of a front window, and divide the inside surface of the front window into a plurality of areas in a vertical direction. A second area formed between these two false image lines forms an appropriate visual field range when the operator looks forward while operating the vehicle. First light emitting means comprising light emitting diodes are disposed at both ends of each of the two dividing lines. The light emitted by these light emitting diodes is directed onto the front window as a false image in accordance with changes in the vehicle state and the environment around the vehicle.
