    摘要: An ink tank for being installed in an ink jet recording apparatus to supply ink thereto, including an ink storage portion, one side surface of a casing of the ink tank in which side surface an opening for supplying ink to the apparatus is formed, and a joint member for joining the one side surface to the apparatus by engaging with a connection member of the apparatus. The joint member has a welding portion for being welded to the one side surface along a peripheral portion of the opening, the welding portion corresponding to the peripheral portion; and a hollow portion forming a positioning hole for inserting therein and engaging therewith the connection member for determining a relative position of the apparatus and the one side surface. The hollow portion is provided on the outside of the welding portion and abuts to the one side surface without being welded.

    摘要: A silver catalyst excelling in catalytic performance and permitting production of ethylene oxide with a high selectivity for a long time, a method for the production of ethylene oxide by the use of the silver catalyst, and a method for ideal manufacture of the silver catalyst are disclosed.     摘要: A monolithic organic porous body includes a continuous macropore structure that includes cellular macropores that overlap to form openings having an average diameter of 20 to 200 μm, the monolithic organic porous body having a thickness of 1 mm or more and a total pore volume of 0.5 to 5 ml/g, an area of a skeleton observed within an SEM image of a section of the continuous macropore structure (in a dry state) being 25 to 50%. A monolithic ion exchanger is produced by introducing an ion-exchange group into the monolithic organic porous body. The monolithic organic porous body and the monolithic ion exchanger are chemically stable, have high mechanical strength, and ensure a low pressure loss when fluid passes through. The monolithic organic porous body and the monolithic ion exchanger may be used as an adsorbent having a large adsorption capacity or an ion exchanger having a large ion-exchange capacity.
