摘要: When a conventional semiconductor container opening/closing apparatus opens a lid of a semiconductor container, foreign particles enter into the container from outside through a gap between the container and a wall surface of the container opening/closing apparatus and adhere to a wafer in the container. A method is provided to reduce the number of foreign particles adhering to the wafer by preventing foreign particles from entering into the container at the time of opening the container by the opening/closing apparatus. To achieve this, a velocity-differential pressure ratio obtained by dividing the maximum velocity at the time of opening the lid of the container in a vertical direction to an opening of the container, by the differential pressure between the inside pressure and the outside pressure of said semiconductor manufacturing apparatus, is set to be 0.06 ((m/s) Pa) or less.

摘要: With a camera, a photographing prohibition state can surely be recognized only by viewing a liquid crystal display. In the camera, an LCD with a variable transmissivity is disposed within a finder. A film is fed by a film feed section. When a film rewinding operation by the film feed section is completed, a CPU instructs an LCD drive section to lower the transmissivity of the LCD.

摘要: A battery check device for a camera which includes a discharging circuit to which current flows from a battery and a discharging time setting device for setting a discharging time for determining that an internal resistance of the battery has increased due to non-use of the battery so as to temporarily reduce an output voltage of the battery. The discharging time set by the discharging time setting device is longer than a time required to check the residual energy amount of the battery. A determining device determines whether a voltage of the discharging circuit has reached a reference voltage specific to the battery within the discharging time. It is determined that the residual energy amount of the battery is sufficient and that the internal resistance of the battery has merely increased due to non-use of the battery when the determining device determines that the voltage of the discharging circuit has reached the reference voltage specific to the battery within the discharging time but after the time required to check the residual energy amount of the battery. And it is determined that the residual energy amount of the battery is insufficient when the determining device determines that the voltage of the discharging circuit has not reached the reference voltage specific to the battery within the discharging time.

摘要: A rotatable developing roller for carrying out a developer from a vessel containing one-component developer to be conveyed to a developing portion is provided with a developing roller a resilient roller in contact with and rotatable within the vessel. This resilient roller is an independently-porous foam roller having an Asker C hardness of 8.degree. to 15.degree., and is placed into contact with the developing roller so that the variation in a radial direction is 0.5 mm to 1.5 mm. In another aspect, under a surface layer of a cellular material, there is provided an intermediate layer of a cellular material having a compression resiliency lower than that of the surface layer.

摘要: A circuit interrupter comprising a pair of separable contacts at least one of which is movable, and an operating mechanism operatively connected to the movable contacts for opening and closing the contacts. The operating mechanism includes a movable contact arm having mounted thereon the movable contact, a latch lever pivotally mounted on the movable contact arm, and a toggle link mechanism connected at its one end to an operating handle and the other end of which is directly engageable with the movable contact arm and the latch lever. The movable contact arm has a latch surface, and the latch lever has a latching end which, in cooperation with the latch surface, releasably catches the other end of the toggle link mechanism. The movable contact arm further has formed thereon a stop surface for preventing the movement of the other end of the toggle link mechanism beyond the point at which the toggle link mechanism is partly collapsed when the contacts are welded to each other. A roller may be mounted on the other end of the second toggle link for quick and smooth operation of the operating mechanism.
