Abstract: The present invention provides an operation triggering method and apparatus for machine-to-machine communications. The method implemented in a service capability middleware, includes retrieving a change result of the content of the subject resource stored in the service capability middleware; retrieving a representation of the operation resource associated with the subject resource, where the representation of the operation resource includes a condition for sending an operation request to an object resource and a uniform resource identifier of the object resource; constructing the operation request for the object resource when it is determined that the change result meets the condition for sending the operation request to the object resource in the representation of the operation resource; and sending the operation request to the object resource.

Abstract: A resource acquiring method relates to the field of machine-to-machine communications (M2M) technologies, where the method is used by a consumer application to acquire a producer data resource generated by a producer application, and includes receiving a request message that is used to acquire the producer data resource and that is sent by the consumer application, where the request message carries indication information that is used to instruct to update the producer data resource and return an updated producer data resource, acquiring current moment data from the producer application, updating the producer data resource using the current moment data, and returning the updated producer data resource to the consumer application. Hence, a problem of mismatching between data generated by the producer application and data used by the consumer application is resolved.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention disclose a resource obtaining method and a related device, to effectively reduce redundant data transmission between a registrar and a resource server. The method in the embodiments of the present invention includes: receiving, by a registrar, a first request sent by a terminal for obtaining a target attribute included in a resource, where the first request carries a uniform resource identifier URI of the target attribute; determining, by the registrar based on the URI, that the registrar stores the resource to which the target attribute belongs, where the target attribute is partial content included in the resource; and sending, by the registrar to the terminal, a valid target attribute indicated by the URI. The embodiments of the present invention further provide a registrar and a resource server, effectively reducing redundant data transmission between the registrar and the resource server, and saving a network resource.
