The present invention provides a channel selection method and an apparatus, relates to the field of communications, can improve channel scan and detection efficiency. The method includes: randomly selecting m channels from a preset channel page; determining, from the m channels, a working channel and a spare channel that meet a preset condition; scanning, the working channel of the first superframes and the spare channel of the first superframes in an inactive period of each of the n first superframes according to preset first scan duration, to acquire n energy levels of the working channel and n energy levels of the spare channel; and determining, in an inactive period of the nth first superframe, a working channel for sending a second superframe and a spare channel of the second superframe according to the n energy levels of the working channel and the n energy levels of the spare channel.

The invention provide a control method, including: obtaining a time division scheme of a STA in a next cruise monitoring period, where the next cruise monitoring period includes N adjustment periods and N monitoring periods determined by means of division according to N preset points; configuring control information according to the time division scheme, where the control information is for controlling an operating status of the STA in each adjustment period in the next cruise monitoring period; and sending the control information to the STA.

The present invention discloses an apparatus and a method for scheduling a timeslot. The apparatus includes: a first acquiring module, configured to acquire first interference information; a second acquiring module, configured to acquire second interference information; a third acquiring module, configured to acquire timeslot scheduling information of a link of the at least one second BSS, where the timeslot scheduling information is used to indicate information about a scheduled timeslot of the link of the at least one second BSS; and a scheduling module, configured to schedule a timeslot for a link of the first BSS according to the first interference information, the second interference information, and the timeslot scheduling information. According to the apparatus and the method for scheduling a timeslot in embodiments of the present invention, interference to a link of another network can be avoided actively, and a timeslot can be scheduled properly.

Embodiments of the disclosure provide a method and an apparatus for selecting a preferred parent node in a wireless sensor network, and the method includes: according to all received DIO messages, separately acquiring, by a first node, node identification information carried in each of the DIO messages and generates a parent node set; selecting, by the first node, a fixed node with a highest performance parameter level as a preferred parent node when it is determined that the parent node set includes at least two fixed nodes; and selecting, by the first node, a mobile node with a highest performance parameter level as the preferred parent node when it is determined that the parent node set does not include a fixed node, and includes at least two mobile nodes.

Embodiments of the present invention disclose a node scheduling method, where the method includes: configuring, for a node, a working period matched with a performance indicator of the node, where duration of the working period is an integer multiple of duration of a super frame, and the super frame is a super frame corresponding to a beacon frame in a network in which the node is located; and sending, to the node, an updated beacon frame that includes information about the working period, so that the node acquires the information about the working period from the updated beacon frame, receives a working beacon frame, establishes a super frame corresponding to the working beacon frame until the working period ends, and then repeats the receiving a working beacon frame and establishing a super frame corresponding to the working beacon frame until the updated beacon frame is received again.
