Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a data forwarding method, device, and communications system, which relate to the field of communications and can achieve accuracy and continuity of data transmission during carrier aggregation for cells between base stations. The method includes: sending, by a primary base station, a first message to a secondary base station, where the first message is used to instruct the secondary base station to perform handover, and the first message includes an identifier of a target base station; confirming, by the primary base station, that the secondary base station forwards data to the target base station; and sending, by the primary base station, a second message to a user equipment, where the second message is used to instruct the user equipment to acquire the data from the target base station. The embodiments of the present invention are used for data forwarding.

Abstract: A method for data transmission, comprising: receiving, by a device, a paging message, and determining an opportunity for acquiring an uplink transmission resource, by basing on a subframe for receiving the paging message; acquiring, by the device, an uplink transmission resource at the opportunity for acquiring the uplink transmission resource; and reporting, by the device, user data in the uplink transmission resource, by using a time advance that is stored in the device itself and that corresponds to a current position. According to the embodiments of the present invention, no random access is required when the MTC device transmits uplink data, and no RRC connection or user plane bearer is to be established, which greatly simplifies the procedures of data transmission for the device, and the device can quickly and high-efficiently transmit uplink data, thereby improving the transmission efficiency, and reducing the signaling load of the base station.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a communication method and a communications device. The method includes: sending, by a base station, a message including measurement configuration to UE, where the measurement configuration is used to request the UE to report a cell global identifier of a cell; obtaining, by the base station, a measurement report reported by the UE, where the measurement report corresponds to the measurement configuration and includes the cell global identifier of the cell and band information of the cell; and performing, by the base station, cell handover based on the band information and the cell global identifier of the cell. By means of the present invention, the base station obtains complete and accurate band information of the cell, so that the base station can perform accurate handover decision, thereby avoiding handover failure.

Abstract: Example transmission rate control methods and apparatus are described. One example method includes obtaining a user equipment aggregate maximum bit rate (UE-AMBR) by a master base station. The master base station determines, based on the UE-AMBR, a first UE-AMBR used for the master base station and a second UE-AMBR used for a secondary base station. The master base station sends the second UE-AMBR to the secondary base station, and sends instruction information used to instruct the secondary base station to control data splitting for the master base station to the secondary base station. In this application, a transmission rate between each base station and a UE is controlled by allocating a UE-AMBR.

Abstract: The present application describes a data processing method used for implementing data transmission between multiple carriers and a HARQ entity. A terminal receives mapping relationship information sent from a base station, where the mapping relationship information is used to indicate a mapping relationship between a HARQ entity of the terminal and a frequency resource configured by the base station for the terminal. The terminal determines the frequency resource. The terminal determines a HARQ entity corresponding to the frequency resource according to the mapping relationship information and processes a HARQ data block transmitted on the frequency resource by using the HARQ entity. Therefore, carrier communication channels for real-time transmission between the base station and the terminal are increased, to improve transmission efficiency.

Abstract: A configuration method is provided in a communications system. The communications system includes a master node and a secondary node that jointly provide a service for a terminal. The method includes: the secondary node generates configuration information for a signaling radio bearer (SRB), where the SRB is used to transmit a radio resource control (RRC) message between the secondary node and the terminal; and sends the configuration information for the SRB to the master node, so that the configuration information for the SRB is sent to the terminal through the master node. The secondary node receives a result of configuring the SRB by the terminal by using the configuration information for the SRB. In this way, the SRB can be established on the secondary node, and used for RRC message transmission between the secondary node and the terminal, thereby improving efficiency in radio resource management on the secondary node.
