Abstract: Organic metal compounds, organic light-emitting devices, and lighting devices employing the same are provided. The organic metal compound has a chemical structure represented by formula (I): wherein each R1 is independent and can be hydrogen, halogen, C1-10 alkyl group, C5-10 cycloalkyl group, or C5-12 aryl group; R2 is trialkyl silyl group; and L is a picolinic acid ligand, a 2-(imidazol-2-yl) pyridine ligand, a 2-(4,5-dimethyl-imidazol-2-yl) pyridine ligand, a 3-(trifluoromethyl)-5-(pyridine-2-yl)-1,2,4-triazolate ligand, or a 3-(isobutyl)-5-(pyridine-2-yl)-1,2,4-triazolate ligand.
