    Abstract: The present application describes an apparatus including a non-transitory memory including instructions stored thereon. The apparatus also includes a processor operably coupled to the non-transitory memory configured to execute a set of instructions.     Abstract: The present application describes a WTRU including a non-transitory memory including instructions stored thereon for re-establishing a remote radio control (RRC) connection with a base station. The apparatus also includes a processor capable of executing instructions of determining, based upon a measurement in an active downlink bandwidth part (DL BWP), to initiate a random access channel (RACH) procedure. The processor also executes instructions of switching to a default uplink bandwidth part (UL BWP). The processor also executes instructions of initiating the RACH procedure. The process further executes instructions of transmitting a RA preamble using one of the RACH resources configured for the default UL BWP. The processor even further executes instructions of receiving a RA response. The processor yet even further executes instructions of switching from the default UL BWP to either an active UL BWP or another active UL BWP after re-establishing the RRC connection.

    Abstract: Synchronization Signal Block (SSB) management for new radio may be achieved through indication of a maximum number of beams for beamforming and/or through mechanisms for handling plural candidate SSBs. For example, a User Equipment (UE) may search a Primary Synchronization Signal (PSS) and/or a Secondary Synchronization Signal (SSS) to decode a Physical Broadcast Channel (PBCH) payload comprising and indication of a maximum number of beams (Q) supporting beamforming, e.g., in new radio unlicensed spectrum, and determine, based the indicator, Quasi Co-Located (QCL) Synchronization Signal Blocks (SSBs). Similarly, a UE may determine, from the PBCH payload, a primary DeModulation Reference Signal (DMRS) from which the UE may determine selection bits for an SSB. The UE may also determine, based a frequency range in use, to perform a secondary detection and based on the secondary detection, alter selection bits for accessing the SSB index.

    Abstract: Blind coverage for wireless devices is enhanced varying one or more transmission characteristics of a repeated transmission sent or received by apparatuses, where the repeated transmission includes, for example a Physical Downlink Shared CHannel (PDSCH) and/or a Physical Uplink Shared CHannel (PUSCH) transmissions. Varied characteristics may include a start time for each repetition, a duration for each repetition, a start frequency for each repetition, a bandwidth of each repetition, a number of repetitions for each subframe, and/or a number of repetitions for each slot. Repetitions may be within a Bandwidth Part (BWP) or span multiple BWPs. Repetitions may vary from one to another in start time, start frequency, duration, bandwidth, and slot and subframe patterns. Higher level signalling, such as Radio Resource Control (RRC) signalling may be used to control the inclusion or omission of a DeModulation Reference Signal (DMRS) in repeated transmissions.

    Abstract: A wireless device, such as user equipment (UE) or other apparatus, like may use a transparent mode operation in which the device is not aware of the operation mode of abase station, such as a gNB or other transmission and receive point (TRP), via the use of configurations for Frame Based Equipment (FBE) and Load Based Equipment (LBE) operating modes. A base station may initiate a Channel Occupancy Time (COT) that is an FBE COT or an LBE COT, in which the wireless device follows FBE or LBE procedures accordingly. A variety of criteria may be applied in determining whether to use FBE or LBE procedures, and to switch between them. A network may use indicate the intention to switch operation mode and may do so via implicit or explicit indications. Similarly, a wireless device may autonomously switch operation mode, and may indicate the selected mode to the network.

    Abstract: Wireless User Equipment, UE, and network apparatuses may be adapted to facilitate continuity of Multicast/Broadcast Service, MBS, across cells. A UE in idle/inactive mode, for example, may receive MBS assistance information comprising scheduling information defining MB S reception windows and perform a cell re selection evaluation process accordingly. An UE in connected mode may conduct and report MB S quality measurements and receive an RRC reconfiguration comprising an MB S configuration for a target cell, determine that MBS transmission progress differs between the source cell and the target cell, and recover lost MBS PDUs or delete duplicate MBS PDUs accordingly. A network apparatus, such as a gNB for example, may map a GPRS Tunneling Protocol Sequence Number of an MBS PDU, to a Packet Data Convergence Protocol Sequence Number in a target cell, and determine an MB S configuration for use by a UE requesting a handover accordingly.
