Abstract: Disclosed embodiments provide techniques for generation of vehicle travel data. Past-travel data including previously taken trips, along with metadata including, but not limited to, vehicle type, vehicle model, navigation device model, are obtained and classified. A travel route for simulation data is selected. Data from various previous trips are combined to create a simulation data set for the travel route. This data is based on actual vehicle data. This can enable a new level of accuracy for data analysis and simulations based on this data as compared with purely simulated data. Actual vehicle data accounts for driver behavior, road obstacles, signage, vegetation, vehicle characteristics, and other factors that may not be able to be captured with purely simulated traffic data. Using the data generated by disclosed embodiments enables these factors to be considered in traffic analysis.

Abstract: A method, system, and computer program product are provided. At least some received event candidate information concerning a possible event is stored as an event candidate in a database. A dialogue is generated with an occupant of a vehicle located in a vicinity of the possible event to obtain and store information to resolve any insufficiency or ambiguity regarding the event candidate in the database. When the information stored in the database regarding the event candidate is determined to be sufficient and unambiguous the event candidate is made into an event in the database. The event is reported to at least one vehicle approaching a location corresponding to the event.

Abstract: Embodiments generally relate to locating a moving vehicle. In some embodiments, a method includes determining driving information associated with a vehicle that is moving, where the driving information includes pattern information associated with past movement of the vehicle. The method further includes periodically receiving reported vehicle probe information from the vehicle, where the reported vehicle probe information includes a current location of the vehicle. The method further includes acquiring context information on surroundings of the vehicle if no reported vehicle probe information is received from the vehicle for a predetermined amount of time. The method further includes generating estimation vehicle probe information associated with the vehicle based on the context information, where the estimation vehicle probe information includes one or more candidate locations of the vehicle.

Abstract: An embodiment of the invention may include a method, computer program product and computer system for managing mobile objects. The embodiment may determine, by a mobile object server, a position of a mobile object in a geographic space managed by the mobile object server. The embodiment may determine a plurality of routes based on the position of the mobile object in the geographic space. The embodiment may calculate, by the mobile object server, a plurality of route parameters for the plurality of routes, wherein the plurality of route parameters includes a passage possibility of the mobile object over each route. The embodiment may calculate a plurality of edge parameters for a plurality of edges, wherein each edge is a segment of a route, and wherein the edge parameter includes the passage possibility of the mobile object over each edge.

Abstract: Position data may gradually pseudonymized by a method, comprising: generating a sequence of relative positions from a sequence of absolute positions of a moving object; randomizing the sequence of relative positions using at least a sequence of random numbers generated from at least one seed; in response to receiving an analytical job comprising the at least one seed, restoring the sequence of relative positions from the randomized sequence of relative positions; and in response to receiving an analytical job comprising both the at least one seed and at least one absolute position derived from the sequence of absolute positions, restoring the sequence of absolute positions from the randomized sequence of relative positions.

The embodiment may include managing, by a first subsystem, an event in a first region of the plurality of geographic regions using a first event agent. The embodiment may include determining whether the event is predicted to spread from the first region to a second region. The embodiment may include generating a first dynamic event agent to monitor the event as a dynamic event based on predicting the event may spread from the first region to the second region. The first dynamic event agent may receive information relating to the dynamic event, update a status of the dynamic event based on the received information, and transmit the received information. The embodiment may include generating, by a second subsystem, a second dynamic event agent for handling the dynamic event in the second region.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method includes receiving an image. The image includes one or more objects and one or more text portions. The computer-implemented method further includes identifying the one or more objects. The computer-implemented method further includes, for each of the one or more objects identified, extracting an object tag. The computer-implemented method further includes, for each of the one or more text portions, extracting a text tag. The computer-implemented method further includes, for each text tag, determining whether the text tag describes any of the one or more objects based on the object tag extracted from each object to yield a determination. The computer-implemented method further includes, responsive to the determination: performing an image process to that of the one or more objects, and performing a text process to that of the one or more text portions. A corresponding computer program product and computer system are also disclosed.
