Abstract:
A coaxial cable connector connects coaxial cables with each other is disclosed. The coaxial cable connector includes a tap terminal, a tap housing, a tap locking member, a receptacle housing, a receptacle terminal and a receptacle locking member. The tap terminal is connected to a first coaxial cable, and has a locking groove. The tap housing includes a protrusion fixedly held in the locking groove, and the tap terminal is inserted into the tap housing. The tap locking member is mounted on the tap housing to hold the tap terminal that is inserted into the tap housing. The receptacle housing is detachably coupled with the tap housing, and the receptacle terminal is inserted into the receptacle housing and connects the tap terminal with a second coaxial cable. The receptacle locking member is mounted on the receptacle housing to hold the receptacle terminal that is inserted into the receptacle housing.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to the use of nucleic acid sequences for regulating the transcription and expression of genes, the novel promoters and expression units themselves, methods for altering or causing the transcription rate and/or expression rate of genes, expression cassettes comprising the expression units, genetically modified microorganisms with altered or caused transcription rate and/or expression rate, and methods for preparing biosynthetic products by cultivating the genetically modified microorganisms.
Abstract:
A polyetherpolyol for use in production of polyurethane includes polyetherpolyol carbons having stereoregularity of syndiotactic triad. Further, a method of preparing such polyetherpolyol is provided. The polyurethane resulting from stereoregular polyetherpolyol is superior in physical properties to polyuretanes obtained by use of atactic polyetherpolyol.
Abstract:
A vacuum cleaner includes both a main dust separation unit and a secondary dust separation unit. One of the dust separation units is provided on a main body of the vacuum cleaner, and the other dust separation unit is provided on a removable dust collection unit that is mountable on the main body.
Abstract:
A door hinge device includes a hinge shaft fixed to a body of an appliance and having a damping protrusion on one side of an outer surface, and a coupling member having a shaft engaging hole coupled to an outer surface of the hinge shaft. The shaft engaging hole includes a holding portion having an inner diameter corresponding to an outer diameter of the hinge shaft and a damping portion having a larger inner diameter than the outer diameter of the hinge shaft and surrounding the damping protrusion. The damping portion includes a separation section separated from the damping protrusion when the door is closed, and a contact section contacting the damping protrusion when the door is opened. The door hinge device can prevent slamming or trembling when the door is opened or closed, and has a simple configuration.
Abstract:
A blind modulation classification apparatus in a satellite communication system improves performance in non-ideal communication environment having frequency error and phase error, by reducing computational burden of test statistic and possibility of numerical error of hardware, with computation of likelihood for each stage independently. The blind modulation classification apparatus includes a plurality of likelihood computing units, each for computing a likelihood value of a received baseband signal for corresponding one of a plurality of modulation schemes; a maximum selecting and setting units for selecting the maximum among the calculated likelihood values and setting a flag corresponding to the maximum to ‘1’ and the other flags to ‘0’; a plurality of flag summing-up units for summing up the flags of the plurality of the modulation schemes; and a modulation scheme selecting unit for selecting the maximum among the summed-up values and selecting the modulation scheme corresponding to the selected value.
Abstract:
A sweatband used for headwear that is woven of 100% combustible synthetic yarn without any polyurethane. The sweatband provides excellent sweat absorbing capability and exhibits good elasticity through the structure of the textile without imposing undue pressure on the wearer so that the sweatband may be worn comfortably for a long period of time. The yarn used to produce the sweatband is passed through a bulky process, being shrunk through a low temperature short-term combustion method and dry heat treatment process after weaving. The sweatband preferably has a unitary, single ply construction that is planar and does not twist in the absence of elongating force.
