Abstract: Disclosed is a non-oriented electrical steel sheet having low iron loss in a frequency range of about 400 Hz. The non-oriented electrical steel sheet comprises an inner layer and surface layers, wherein the inner layer and surface layers have specific chemical compositions, each of the surface layers has an in-plane tensile stress of 5 MPa to 50 MPa, the non-oriented electrical steel sheet has a sheet thickness t of 0.01 mm to 0.35 mm, the surface layers have a total thickness t1 with a ratio t1/t of the total thickness t1 to the sheet thickness t being 0.10 to 0.70, the non-oriented electrical steel sheet has an average N content [N] in the total sheet thickness of 40 ppm or less, and an iron loss W10/400 and the sheet thickness t satisfy the following formula (1): W10/400≤8+30t (1).

Abstract: A non-oriented electrical steel sheet with an average magnetostriction λp-p at 400 Hz and 1.0 T of not more than 4.5×10−6, and area ratio of recrystallized grains at a section in rolling direction of steel sheet of 40 to 95% and an average grain size of 10 to 40 μm is obtained by subjecting a steel slab containing, in mass %, C: not more than 0.005%, Si: 2.8 to 6.5%, Mn: 0.05 to 2.0%, Al: not more than 3.0%, P: not more than 0.20%, S: not more than 0.005%, N: not more than 0.005%, Ti: not more than 0.003%, V: not more than 0.005% and Nb: not more than 0.005% and satisfying Si-2Al-Mn≥0 to hot rolling, hot-band annealing, cold rolling and finish annealing under adequate cold rolling and finish annealing conditions, and a motor core is manufactured by such a steel sheet.

Abstract: There are provided a method for producing a non-oriented electrical steel sheet, a method for manufacturing a motor core from such a steel sheet, and a motor core. In the production of a non-oriented electrical steel sheet by subjecting a steel slab containing given amounts of C, Si, Mn, P, S, Al, N, Ti, Nb and V, provided that Si, Al and Mn satisfy Si-2Al-Mn≥0, to hot rolling, cold rolling, finish annealing and stress relief annealing, conditions of the finish annealing and stress relief annealing are adjusted such that a yield stress after the finish annealing is not less than 400 MPa and iron loss W10/400 (W/kg) after the stress relief annealing in relation to a sheet thickness t (mm) satisfies W10/400≤10+25t and magnetostriction λo-p (bake) after the stress relief annealing is not more than 5.0×10−6 and a ratio (λo-p (bake)/λo-p (green)) of magnetostriction λo-p (bake) after the stress relief annealing to magnetostriction λo-p (green) before the stress relief annealing is less than 0.8, whereby a high-strength rotor core and a stator core having excellent magnetic properties after stress relief annealing can be obtained from the same steel material.

Abstract: A non-oriented electrical steel sheet is obtained by subjecting a slab containing C: not more than 0.005 mass %, Si: 1.0-5.0 mass %, Mn: 0.04-3.0 mass %, sol. Al: not more than 0.005 mass %, P: 0.03-0.2 mass %, S: not more than 0.005 mass %, N: not more than 0.005 mass %, B: not more than 0.001 mass %, and Se: not more than 0.001 mass % and satisfying sol. Al+C+5B+5Se≦0.005 mass % to hot rolling, cold rolling and finish annealing. A sheet temperature at the outlet side of the rolling machine in at least one pass of the final cold rolling is set to a range of 100-300° C. to provide S/2M of not less than 1.0 and S/5C of not less than 1.0 when X-ray intensity ratios of {001} , {111} and {001} in a central layer in a thickness direction are S, M and C, respectively.

Abstract: To stably improve the magnetic flux density by utilizing induction heating and radiant heating during final annealing of a non-oriented electrical steel sheet. A method of manufacturing a non-oriented electrical steel sheet, including subjecting a slab having a predetermined chemical composition to hot rolling with or without performing hot-rolled sheet annealing, and then to cold rolling either once, or twice or more with intermediate annealing performed therebetween, and then to final annealing, where a material before final cold rolling has a recrystallization ratio of less than 80% and a {100} intensity of 8 or less in a ¼ layer, and in the final annealing, an average heating rate from 600° C. to 720° C. is 50° C./s or higher, and an average heating rate from 720° C. to 760° C. is 5° C./s or higher.

Abstract: A non-oriented electrical steel sheet produced by hot rolling a steel slab containing, by mass %, C: not more than 0.0050, Si: 3.2 to 4.5%, Mn: 0.1 to 2.0%, P: not more than 0.020%, As: not more than 0.0030%, Sn+Sb: 0.005 to 0.10%, and one or two elements selected from Mo and W by a content ranging from 0.0020 to 0.10% in total, subjecting the resultant steel sheet to one cold rolling or two or more cold rollings including an intermediate annealing therebetween to achieve a final sheet thickness, and then subjecting the cold rolled sheet to finish annealing, a N2 content in an atmosphere in the finish annealing is set to not more than 20 vol %, and average strain rate in the first pass is set to not more than 4/sec, allowing the cold rolling property to improve with no degradation in magnetic property and no decrease in productivity.
