Abstract:
A wheel rotation device assists in cleaning, inspection and maintenance of wheels. The device has a ramp, a backstop, and two contoured rollers, fastened to rails. The device operates upon a flat surface such as a garage floor or driveway, and avoids slipping from friction with the flat surface and a non-skid treatment on to the underside of the rails. The ramp allows the motorcycle to be rolled forward onto the rollers that centers the motorcycle wheel upon and between the rollers as it is manually rotated. The backstop limits forward movement of the motorcycle wheel to within the rear of the device. The rear roller, nearest the backstop, has spindles projecting through the rails and have machined ends that accept a tool to rotate the motorcycle wheel.
Abstract:
A memory hub includes a local queue that stores local memory responses, a bypass path that passes downstream memory responses, and a buffered queue coupled to the bypass path that stores downstream memory responses from the bypass path. A multiplexer is coupled to the local queue, buffered queue, and the bypass path and outputs responses from a selected one of the queues or the bypass path responsive to a control signal. Arbitration control logic is coupled to the multiplexer and the queues and develops the control signal to control the response output by the multiplexer.
Abstract:
Ambient air is fed through a double wall pipe exhaust and subsequently directed into a pintle regulated Venturi. Fuel is vaporized and mixed homogeneously with air in the Venturi throat. The mixture is homogeneous at all throttle loadings because the pintle flow regulating valve maintains a high velocity at the Venturi throat. Water is injected into the Venturi throat to regulate the air/fuel charge temperature and, consequently, auto-ignition timing for a Homogeneous Charge Compression Ignition (HCCI) engine.
Abstract:
A system, method, and device for providing remote mass spectrometry are disclosed. The exemplary system may have an ion source for injecting ions and a measurement chamber. The measurement chamber may be coupled to the ion source for receiving and detecting signals of the ions. The measurement chamber may have an analysis cell, a magnet and an ionizing device. A control board may be in communication with the measurement chamber. The control board may receive signals received and detected by the measurement chamber. The control board may be located remotely and may have a processor for analyzing the signal.
Abstract:
A separating tank assembly enables a dental vacuum separating tank to be drained without using a pump and without turning off or isolating the vacuum source from the tank. A drain tank is provided in fluid communication with the separating tank, and a control valve controls a pressure differential between the drain tank and the fluid tank. When the separating tank is filling, the drain tank and separating tank pressures are equalized, and the tanks are in fluid communication. When the fluid in the drain tank reaches a predetermined level, the solenoid opens the drain tank to atmosphere, blocking fluid communication between the separating tank and the drain tank and opening fluid communication between the drain tank and a sewer drain. After the fluid is drained, the solenoid reopens fluid communication between the separating tank and the drain tank, and the pressures in the respective tanks are equalized.
Abstract:
Systems and methods, for providing distributed configuration storage are presented. The configuration storage is divided into distributed configuration target modules that are physically located in each design section of a device that uses configuration storage. A distributed configuration master module, physically located near the host interface, controls access into and out of each target module via a distributed configuration bus. The creation of each storage array in the distributed configuration storage can be automated using a scripting tool that converts each register specification into hardware description language code.

A computer-implemented for sharing the results of computing operations among related computing systems may include: 1) identifying a need to perform a computing operation on a file, 2) identifying a unique identifier associated with the file, 3) determining, by using the unique identifier to query a shared store that is shared by a group of related computing systems, that at least one computing system within the group of related computing systems has previously performed the computing operation on an instance of the file, and then 4) retrieving the results of the computing operation from the shared store instead of performing the computing operation. Various other methods, systems, and computer-readable media are also disclosed.

Abstract:
A sequencing valve and associated hydronic system are provided. The valve has first and second ports, which can be connected to a heat exchange device, and the valve is configured to selectively provide multiple fluids to the heat exchange device. For example, the valve can selectively connect hot and cold water supplies to the heat exchanger so that the heat exchanger can be used alternately to heat and cool air for a refrigeration system. The valve can include check valves that are adjusted by rotatable cams for controlling the flow of fluids into and out of the ports. Each cam can be mounted on a rotatable shaft so that the cams rotate to adjust the check valves between open and closed positions.
