    Abstract: Exemplary embodiments of the present invention relate to pesticides, insecticides, insect repellant, insect anti-feeding, cleaning, glue dissolving and anti-irritation and wound healing compositions for humans and animals and, more particularly, to such compositions which are effective in killing, removing and/or repelling a wide range of endoparasites, ectoparasites and insects while also being non-toxic to humans, animals, and the environment. An exemplary embodiment of the present invention is directed to an aqueous composition including a mixture of at least one ethanolamide and at least one esterified fatty acid. Another exemplary embodiment of the present invention is directed to an aqueous composition including at least one esterified fatty acid in water and at least one emulsifier. The aqueous compositions may be used as a cleaning composition, insecticide, insect repellant, glue solvent or to relieve irritation from and/or promote healing of insect bites, skin abrasions superficial burns and wounds.
