摘要:
The device for metering the volume of gas flowing in a pipe, downstream from an expander-regulator, comprises in succession a flow straightener, a velocity-measuring flowmeter, and a silent flowrate limiter. The straightener comprises a support ring in which there are mounted a first perforated plate having holes distributed over its surface, together with a first porous plate and a spacer in the form of an annulus co-operating with the first perforated plate. The limiter comprises an upstream web defining a second perforated plate perforated by a defined number of calibrated holes, the total flow section thereof being much less than the total flow section of the first perforated plate, a second perforated plate, and a downstream web defining a third perforated plate having holes of total flow section that is much greater than the total flow section of the second perforated plate of the upstream web.

A safety and automatic stop device for interrupting the flow of gaseous fluid along a main duct by tripping a safety valve member including a closing actuator for closing the safety valve member and an opening actuator for opening the safety valve member. A closing control module cooperates with a pressure-measuring housing to deliver an on/off pneumatic signal to the closing actuator as a function of the value of the pressure of a gaseous fluid to be controlled relative to at least one reference pressure determined by the pressure-measuring housing. A manual control element is used to apply an on/off pneumatic signal of predetermined value to the opening actuator and for selectively resetting the safety valve member. The safety and automatic stop device of the present invention is particularly adapted for application to a buried gas expansion station.

This invention relates to supply circuits for fluids under pressure, particularly gases. Such circuits ordinarily comprise a main pipe between a source of fluid and a point of consumption, and to which main pipe is fitted a regulator and pressure-reducer and at least one obturator is normally fitted to this main pipe downstream of the regulator and pressure-reducer. In such an arrangement, the present invention provides means for minimising over-pressures consequent on the said obturator closing which are caused by the inertia of the regulator, which means is fitted as a by-pass to the main pipe on either side of the regulator and pressure-reducer. In one preferred embodiment, this means comprises a venturi and a reservoir which is connected by a first pipe means to the venturi and wherein the venturi is fitted to a second pipe means as a by-pass to the regulator and pressure-reducer, a valve being provided in the second pipe means upstream of the venturi.
