摘要： A pressure washer includes a pump for pressurizing a primary fluid flow, the pump including a pump inlet for receiving fluid from a common fluid source and a pump outlet for supplying a pressurized primary fluid and a jet pump including a primary fluid inlet fluidly coupled to the pump outlet, a secondary fluid inlet configured to receive fluid from the common fluid source, and a fluid outlet. In a high pressure operating mode, all of the pressurized primary fluid flows through the jet pump and exits through the fluid outlet of the jet pump. In a high flow operating mode, all the pressurized primary fluid flows through the jet pump and entrains a secondary fluid supplied through the secondary fluid inlet from the common fluid source so that the secondary fluid also flows through the jet pump, resulting in a combined fluid flow of the primary fluid and the secondary fluid that exits through the fluid outlet of the jet pump.

A shield member mounted in the exhaust pipe, the shield member comprising a generally tubular or frustoconical structure having a proximal and a distal end, the proximal end being disposed such that the injection tip is inside the shield member, the distal end being disposed towards a centerline of the exhaust pipe. A vane mounted in relation to the shield member, the vane being arranged to direct a proportion of exhaust flow from upstream of the bend in a substantially arcuate path into the proximal end of the shield member.

摘要： A vehicle exhaust system includes an exhaust component defining an engine exhaust gas passageway and which includes an opening. A doser defines a doser axis and extends to a doser tip that is configured to spray a reducing agent into the engine exhaust gas passageway through the opening. A cone has a base end positioned adjacent the opening such that an annular gap is formed within the exhaust component around the doser tip. Exhaust gas is directed into the base end of the cone through the annular gap in a direction transverse to the doser axis. This configuration reduces deposit formation while still allowing the reducing agent to be thoroughly mixed with engine exhaust gases prior to introduction of the mixture into a downstream exhaust component.

摘要： A liquid treatment method includes mixing a liquid with an agent to form a mixture, aging the mixture to obtain to a predetermined condition in at least one of the liquid and the agent, and dispensing the aged mixture. An interaction between the liquid and the agent causes the predetermined condition to occur. Also, a majority of the aging occurs while the mixture is in a dynamic state. A related system includes a mixer receiving a liquid and a drag reducing agent and an aging module connected to the mixer. The mixer disperses the drag reducing agent in the liquid to form a mixture and the aging module has a flow path along which the mixture flows. The flow path has a distance sufficient for a majority of the aging to occur while the mixture is in a dynamic state, wherein the aging changes the drag reducing agent to a predetermined condition.

An apparatus of the present invention includes a dissolution tank that includes a pressure vessel, at least one liquid spray nozzle, and a fluid outlet. The apparatus also includes a gas source, an element for passing fluid into the pressure vessel, and a discharge device connected to the fluid outlet, which discharge device is provided with at least one orifice. Preferred applications include wastewater treatment, treatment of drinking water, fermentation, and bioremediation.
