Abstract: A heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system includes a compressor having a discharge port and a suction port, a first sensor configured to provide feedback corresponding to a first temperature of the working fluid exiting the compressor proximate the discharge port, a second sensor configured to provide feedback corresponding to a second temperature of the working fluid entering the compressor proximate the suction port, and an automation controller storing data indicative of an operational envelope. The operational envelope defines compressor operation coordinates corresponding to a range of suction temperatures and a range of discharge temperatures inside and outside of a target region of the operational envelope, and the automation controller is configured to control a target range of compressor speeds based on a comparison of the target region to an operation coordinate defined by the feedback from the first sensor and the feedback from the second sensor.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure are directed to collapsible hood for a heating and cooling system that includes a plurality of panels configured to couple to a housing of the heating and cooling system, wherein the plurality of panels is configured to be translated between a collapsed position and an open position, wherein the plurality of panels is substantially flush against the housing in the collapsed position to configure the heating and cooling system for transportation, and wherein the plurality of panels are configured to extend from the housing to protect openings in an air intake of the housing and to allow passage of air through the air intake in the open position.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a heating, ventilation, and/or air conditioning (HVAC) system including an enclosure that is divided by a partition extending between a first panel and a second panel of the enclosure such that the partition defines an outdoor air flow path and a return air flow path through the enclosure. The partition includes an opening extending between the outdoor airflow path and the return airflow path. The HVAC system also includes an energy recovery wheel that translatably extends through the opening and is positioned within the outdoor air flow path and the return air flow path. The energy recovery wheel is disposed within the enclosure at an oblique angle relative to the outdoor air flow path and the return air flow path.
