The service database includes data comprising a physical location of the HVAC unit and a service history for the HVAC unit. The control system also includes a user device communicatively coupled to the service database. The user device includes a controller having a memory and a processor. Additionally, the controller is configured to receive user input via the user device indicative of a service action performed on the HVAC unit, and update the service database such that the service history includes the service action.
