    Abstract: A method of conditioning air within an enclosed space using an HVAC system includes controlling, by a controller, the HVAC system to cool the air within an enclosed space in response to a command from a thermostat that monitors a temperature in the enclosed space. The controller receives a humidity reading from the humidity sensor and determines whether to operate at improved cooling efficiency or at improved dehumidification efficiency based at least in part on the humidity reading. The controller determines an operating speed for the blower to achieve the determined operation at improved cooling efficiency or operation at improved dehumidification efficiency and continues to control the HVAC system to condition the air within the enclosed space including operating the blower at the determined operating speed.

    Abstract: A multi-split type air-conditioning device includes an indoor hot water unit, an indoor air unit, and an outdoor unit to which the indoor hot water unit and the indoor air unit are connected.     Abstract: An HVAC system is configured to regulate a temperature of a space. The HVAC system includes a single-stage compressor configured to compress a refrigerant used to cool air provided to the space and a controller communicatively coupled to the single-stage compressor. The controller determines that a demand response time period is starting at a start time. After determining that the demand response time period is starting at the start time, an operation schedule is determined indicating alternating portions of the demand response period during which the single-stage compressor is to be turned off and turned on. At or after the start time of the demand response time period, the controller begins operating the single-stage compressor according to the determined operation schedule.

    Abstract: A ventilation system 1 includes: a refrigerant circuit 60; an air supply fan 22 that draws outdoor air into an indoor space through a first heat exchanger 12 of the refrigerant circuit 60; an exhaust fan 42 that exhausts indoor air to an outdoor space through a second heat exchanger 32 of the refrigerant circuit 60; a temperature sensor 24 for detecting a blow-out temperature TS of the air supply fan 22; a monitoring sensor 80 for detecting indoor state information CT; and a control unit CU that adjusts indoor ventilation rate. The types of control modes performed by the control unit CU include a first mode and a second mode described below. First mode: A control mode having higher weighting on the state information CT, among the state information CT and the blow-out temperature TS that are usable for adjusting the indoor ventilation rate. Second mode: A control mode having higher weighting on the blow-out temperature TS, among the state information CT and the blow-out temperature TS that are usable for adjusting the indoor ventilation rate.
