Abstract:
A method includes determining a location of erroneous content in a web page in response to a user's request for correcting the erroneous content in the web page; receiving the user's input of correction content for the erroneous content; and submitting correction information to a correction service provider including the location of the erroneous content and the correction content. An alternative method includes receiving correction information submitted by a user for erroneous content in a web page, the correction information including a location of the erroneous content and correction content; storing the received correction information; and retrieving the correction information and sending the correction information to the user in response to the user's request for visiting the web page.
Abstract:
A computerized electronic device includes a base, a display pivoted to the base, a sending module fixed to the display for emitting a light beam, a receiving module fixed to the base for receiving the light beam emitted by the sending module passing through a bill to be detected, and a controller for receiving signals from the receiving module and processing the signals to obtain a result therefrom. The computerized electronic device adopts computer-aided devices to complement bill validation. This greatly improves the accuracy and smartness of bill validation.
Abstract:
A portable display device includes a flexible electrophoretic display, a circuit board electrically connected to the display, and a base receiving and securing the display and the circuit board therein. The display includes a pair of electrodes for providing an electric field therebetween, and a microcapsule layer positioned between the electrodes. The circuit board is electrically connected to the electrodes of the display for providing power to the electrodes and controlling the electric field generated between the electrodes. The base comprises at least two portion foldable to each other to thereby allow the display to be foldable with the at least two portions.
Abstract:
Transgenic plant cell lines and the plant cell expression systems which express HBsAg. The present invention further relates to the method of preparing the above-mentioned cell lines or expression systems, and the use of the above-mentioned cell lines or expression systems in the manufacture of HBsAg protein. The cell lines or expression systems disclosed in the invention can be used to prepare vaccine against hepatitis B virus.
Abstract:
A method for generating test cases for a program is disclosed. The method combines features of path-oriented and goal-oriented software testing. The illustrative embodiment constructs a control-flow graph with nodes that correspond to invocations of subroutines, and constructs control-flow graphs for the source code of such nodes as well. A metric that is based on the topology of the control-flow graph is evaluated recursively for nodes of the graph and for control-flow graphs that correspond to invoked subroutines. In the illustrative embodiment, the metric employed is the length of a shortest path from the starting node to a particular node. A node n with the highest metric value is then selected as a goal, and a path from the starting node to the ending node that passes through node n is generated via backtracking.
Abstract:
A communication system processing element comprises a processor coupled to a memory and implements an endpoint of the system. The endpoint includes a session initiation protocol (SIP) component and a web services component. The SIP component is configured for communication via SIP signaling with one or more other endpoints of the system. The web services component is configured for interfacing the SIP component to one or more communication service applications of the system.
Abstract:
The present invention is a system and method for rapid network failure detection, identification and notification to internet users. It is particular applicable to VoIP applications where such real-time problem identification is particular valuable. It reduces failure detection time by coordinating the sending frequency of RTP and RTCP packets. These incoming packets are monitored and the failure to receive a predetermined number in a specified time window indicates that a network problem has occurred. This problem is then promptly communicated to users of the system.
