Abstract:
A detection system includes a detection target device and a detection device. The detection target device includes a first rotating member rotatable about a first axis, and repeats an operation corresponding to a rotation angle of the first rotating member every time the first rotating member makes a 1/N rotation, N being an integer of 2 or greater. The detection device includes a second rotating member rotatable about a second axis due to a driving force transmitted from the first rotating member. Every time the first rotating member makes a 1/N rotation, the second rotating member makes 1 rotation. Within a whole range of the output value of the detection device from a minimum value to a maximum value, a predetermined range where detection accuracy is guaranteed is assigned to a region corresponding to a 1/N rotation of the first rotating member.
Abstract:
An image forming apparatus includes a conveyance part, a head unit, a distance changing part, three blocks and three pins. The distance changing part moves the head unit between a printing position where a printing operation is performed and a retreat position separated away from the conveyance part farther than the printing position. The three blocks are provided in one of the conveyance part and the head unit at intervals in the conveyance direction and a width direction crossing the conveyance direction. The three pins are provided in the other of the conveyance part and the head unit at positions facing the three blocks. Each of the three blocks has a positioning groove having a pair of inclined surfaces. The pins come into two-point contact with the inclined surfaces of the blocks in a state where the head unit is positioned in the printing position.
Abstract:
A fixing member includes a bolt member and a spacer annular in shape. The bolt member includes a base portion, a protruding portion protruding from the base portion, and a threaded portion at a tip of the protruding portion. The spacer is attached to the protruding portion in a slidable manner between the base portion and the threaded portion. A first member is sandwiched between the base portion and the spacer. A second member different from the first member is sandwiched between the spacer and a nut member threadedly engaged with the threaded portion.
Abstract:
An image reading device includes a contact image sensor that extends in a main scanning direction at a rear surface side of a document table glass and optically reads an image of a document placed on the document table glass, a carriage that holds the contact image sensor, a rail member that extends in a sub-scanning direction and supports the carriage so as to be movable in the sub-scanning direction, and a driving unit that drives the carriage along the rail member. The image reading device includes a shaft arranged at the rear surface side of the document table glass, having a shaft line vertical to the document table glass, and being rotatable around the shaft line, and an eccentric cam eccentrically connected to the shaft and having a peripheral surface abutting an intermediate part of the rail member in the sub-scanning direction.
Abstract:
An ink jet recording apparatus includes a recording head, a blade, and a cleaning liquid dispensing unit. The recording head includes a nozzle surface including a plurality of nozzles each having an ink outlet oriented downward, and is supported so as to move in an up-down direction. The blade wipes the nozzle surface, by moving in a predetermined moving direction in contact with the nozzle surface. The cleaning liquid dispensing unit stores therein cleaning liquid supplied from a cleaning liquid supply source, and supplies the cleaning liquid between a travel start position of the blade and the nozzle surface. The cleaning liquid dispensing unit includes a receptacle in which the cleaning liquid that has been supplied is stored, the receptacle having a top face open upward.
Abstract:
An inkjet recording apparatus includes a head unit and a gap adjustment device. The head unit includes one or more inkjet heads. The gap adjustment device adjusts a gap of the head unit with respect to a conveyance path. The gap adjustment device includes a shaft, a rotating body, a stepped part, a gap adjustment member, a spherical body. The rotating member has an intersection surface intersecting the shaft and is rotatable around the shaft. The stepped part is provided on the intersection surface and its height is changed in a stepped pattern in a circumferential direction. The gap adjustment member has a rear side surface facing the intersection surface and a front side surface being in contact with the head unit, and is movable in a direction of the shaft. The spherical body is held between the rear side surface and the intersection surface.
Abstract:
A cleaning device includes a cleaning unit which removes foreign matter adhered on a conveyance face of a conveyance member conveying a sheet, by using a belt shaped web; and a unit moving mechanism which displaces the cleaning unit to a cleaning position where the cleaning unit comes into contact with the conveyance face and to a separation position separated away from the cleaning position. The cleaning unit includes a delivery roller delivering the web, a pressure roller bringing the web pressure-contact with the conveyance face and a winding roller winding the web passed the conveyance face. The cleaning unit is tilted such that a cleaning face of the web between the pressure roller and the winding roller faces upward as the cleaning unit is displaced from the cleaning position to the separation position.
Abstract:
An illumination device includes a light emitting unit, a light guide member, and a support member. The light guide member has a flat plate part that extends in the longitudinal direction and a light guide body, and is molded such that a sectional shape vertical to the longitudinal direction is a hat shape. The support member has a pair of end support parts that support both end parts in the longitudinal direction of the light guide member and a flat plate part-support part that supports a surface of the flat plate part of the light guide member, which is opposite to a side of the light guide body. A support surface of the flat plate part-support part abuts the surface in an entire area in the longitudinal direction of the surface of the light guide member.
Abstract:
An image reading apparatus (6) includes a document placing table (6a) to an upper surface of which a contact glass (25) is fixed, and a document pressing device (24) supported at an end of the document placing table (6a) to be openable/closable via a hinge portion, and having, on its back surface side, a document presser (30) that presses a document placed on the contact glass (25). The document pressing device (24) includes a light transmission window (31) transmitting light in a front-surface-to-back-surface direction of the document pressing device (24). The light transmission window (31) is disposed at a position not overlapping with the contact glass (25) when the document pressing device (24) is at the closure position, and when the document pressing device (24) has moved in an opening direction from the closure position, light that has passed through the light transmission window (31) reaches the contact glass (25).
