摘要: An exhaust emission control apparatus for a general-purpose internal combustion engine comprises an exhaust passage allowing passage of an exhaust gas therethrough and having a ternary catalyst, and an air pump for supplying a secondary air to the exhaust passage. The air pump is driven by rotation of a camshaft having a cam for opening and closing an exhaust or intake valve of the internal combustion engine. The drive of the air pump is effected by a pump rocker arm disposed between the cam and a pump shaft of the air pump.

摘要: In order to suppress freezing of a water content within a breather tube, a heater (13) is arranged within a breather tube (11) joining a cylinder head cover (10) and an air cleaner (8). A main body of the breather tube (11) is constituted by a joint tube (18) arranged in a middle, and partial tubes (22, 23) connected to both ends thereof. The heater (13) has a heating element (14) corresponding to a heating element, and has a heater case (21) accommodating the heating element (14) in a state of being pinched by electrodes (15), and is arranged in a center portion of the joint 18. A slot (18a) for inserting the heater (13) is formed in the joint tube 18. A heat radiating body (20) extended along the breather tube (11) is joined to the heater case (21). An outer peripheral portion of the breather tube (11) is covered by an insulative outer tube (24).

摘要: A memory device has a variable storage capacity depending on the object of use by a user, thereby improving convenience in use of the device. The memory device has a casing which may be loaded into host equipment. The casing has a plural number of loading sections in each of which a memory chip can be mounted. The casing carrying the memory chips has a terminal unit at the end insertable in the host equipment. Data readout from or writing into the memory chip is controlled by a semiconductor unit forming a control circuit disposed in the casing. The memory device may be of a recording capacity as desired by a user by changing the number of the memory chips mounted in the loading sections or by mounting memory chips of variable recording capacities in the loading sections.

摘要: In an automatic transmission performing change-over of a first engaging element and a second engaging element between two gear positions, for example between the fourth gear and the fifth gear, an oil pressure command value A to one of these two engaging elements is retained as a current value “a” and an oil pressure command value B to the other of these two engaging elements is retained as a current value “b” and at the same time the calculation of a calculation value of a downshift form the fifth gear is started when a target gear position changes to the fourth gear or lower during upshift between the two gear positions. When downshift calculation values Ad, Bd reach the retained values “a”, “b”, the oil pressure command values A, B are switched to the downshift calculation values. Thereby, a timing for performing the change-over of respective engaging elements is properly achieved, and a downshift to the fourth gear can be promptly performed before the upshift is not finished, and shift shock and engine racing can be prevented.
