摘要: An image display device such as LCD television comprises: LUTs (look-up tables) which are tables of correction data for correcting color balance of a displayed image; gain adjustment units for providing gain to input signal values representing brightness levels of red, green and blue colors in image data of the displayed image; and a microcomputer for recalculating the correction data in the LUTs and updating the correction data to the recalculated ones. The microcomputer determines, as adjustment gain values, gain values which are provided to the input signal values by the gain adjustment units and which bring color balance of a white balance adjustment image to a predetermined color balance, and recalculates the correction data in the LUTs based on the correction data and the adjustment gain values. This image display device can increase accuracy of white balance adjustment and reduce time required for the white balance adjustment.

摘要: Disclosed is an EPDM composition for molding sealing materials, containing a plasticizer; the plasticizer being a paraffinic oil or naphthenic oil in which the absolute value of the difference between its SP value (solubility parameter; determined by Small's formula) and the SP value of EPDM is 0.3 (cal/cm3)1/2 or less; and the composition being free of an ether ester plasticizer. The EPDM composition for molding sealing materials has the following excellent effects. Because a paraffinic oil or naphthenic oil that is compatible with EPDM and has an absolute value of the difference between its SP value and the SP value of EPDM of 0.3 (cal/cm3)1/2 or less is used as the plasticizer, a peroxide crosslinked product of the EPDM composition does not form defects that cause the starting point of blisters even when it is subjected to extraction by being brought into contact with HFO-1234yf. Accordingly, the peroxide crosslinked product, when used as a sealing material, particularly a compressor sealing material, exhibits excellent blister resistance to a hydrofluoroolefin refrigerant, such as HFO-1234yf.

摘要: The disclosed vehicle smoothly generates the torque requested by the driver. The vehicle includes an elapsed time measurement unit, a torque limit value deciding unit, and an electric motor torque control unit. The elapsed time measurement unit measures the time elapsed since the vehicle has started moving in an EV mode, in which travel or starting is performed only with the drive force of an electric motor. The torque limit value deciding unit decides a torque limit value of the electric motor by means of the time elapsed since starting and the acceleration opening amount originating from the driver's instructions. The electric motor torque control unit controls the electric motor so as to limit the torque of the electric motor to or below the limit value. The disclosed control method can be used in hybrid vehicles.

摘要: A process is disclosed for producing a carboxyl-containing polymer composition that allows the possibility of obtaining a carboxyl-containing polymer composition which exhibits excellent dispersibility in water or the like, has a viscosity increasing to a lower degree compared to the viscosity of a neutralized viscous liquid using an additive-free carboxyl-containing polymer, and has a high degree of transparency in a neutralized viscous liquid thereof. A carboxyl-containing polymer composition is obtained by polymerizing a monomer containing an α,β-unsaturated carboxylic acid as a main component in a presence of a polyol (iso)stearic acid ester. A polyol in the polyol (iso)stearic acid ester is a polyol selected from a specific group, and the polyol (iso)stearic acid ester is used in the polymerization in an amount of 0.2 to 7 parts by mass based on 100 parts by mass of the α,β-unsaturated carboxylic acid.
