摘要: A particulate TiO2 includes a TiO2 content of at least 99 wt.-%, an anatase content of at least 98 wt.-%, a primary crystallite size X50 of at least 200 nm, a numerical fraction of TiO2 with a primary crystallite size of at most 100 nm of at most 10%, a specific surface area of at most 8 m2/g as determined by BET measurements, 1200 ppm to 2400 ppm of alkali with respect to the TiO2 content, an Al content of 1 ppm to 1000 ppm, expressed as Al and with respect to the TiO2 content, a weight ratio of Al2O3 to Nb2O5 of from 0.17 to 0.74, and 0.1 wt.-% to 0.3 wt.-% of P, expressed as phosphorus and with respect to the TiO2 content.

摘要: A method of using ZnO particles for the treatment of colon cancer and a method of using the particles for reducing the concentration of an organic contaminant in an aqueous solution is described. The ZnO particles are substantially spherical and may have nanopetals that provide a nanoflower morphology. The synthesis and characterization of the ZnO particles is also discussed.

The value A is calculated by formula: A={(peak intensity of C—O bond+peak intensity of C═O bond)/(peak intensity of C—C bond+peak intensity of C═C bond)}. In the formula, the peak intensity is a value determined from a C 1s XPS spectrum.

摘要: The present invention relates to a spherical or spherical-like cathode material for lithium-ion battery and a lithium-ion battery. The chemical formula of the cathode material is LiaNixCoyMnzMbO2, wherein: 1.02≤a≤1.20; 0.0≤b≤0.5; 0.30≤x≤0.60; 0.20≤y≤0.40; 0.05≤z≤0.50; x+y+z=1; M is one or two or more selected from the group consisting of Mg Ti Al Zr Y Co Mn Ni Ba and rare earth elements. Under the scanning electron microscope, the cathode material comprises primary particles with a morphology of spherical or spherical shape, and secondary particles agglomerated by the primary particles. The number percentage of the secondary particles agglomerated by the primary particles is less than or equal to 30%. The lithium battery prepared by the obtained cathode material has high specific capacity, high temperature stability, excellent safety and cycling performance at high temperature, and the preparation method thereof is simple and the cost is relatively low.

摘要: This invention provides a groundbreaking approach to PLNPs and their preparation. In particular, the synthetic methodology disclosed herein fundamentally differs from the traditional solid-state annealing reactions that require extreme and harsh reaction conditions. In one unique aspect of the invention, a simple, one-step mesoporous template method utilizing mesoporous silica nanoparticles (MSNs) is disclosed that affords in vivo rechargeable NIR-emitting mesoporous PLNPs with uniform size and morphology. In another unique aspect of the invention, the novel synthetic approach is based on aqueous-phase chemical reactions conducted in mild conditions, resulting in uniform and homogeneous PLNPs with desired size control (e.g., sub-10 nm).
