The liquid recording head includes a plurality of large droplet ejection outlets each having a relatively large ejection amount, a plurality of small droplet ejection outlets each having in a relatively small ejection amount, energy generating elements for generating energy for ejecting the droplets from the plurality of large droplet ejection outlets and the plurality of small droplet ejection outlets, a liquid chamber for retaining liquid to be ejected from the plurality of large droplet ejection outlets or the plurality of small droplet ejection outlets, at least two first flow passages for establishing communication between the liquid chamber and each of first ejection outlets; and a second flow passage for establishing communication between the liquid chamber and at least two second ejection outlets.

    摘要: An ink jet recording apparatus for effecting recording with ink that adheres to a recording medium has an ink jet recording head unit having a recording head in which a plurality of electrothermal conversion elements available to discharge the ink are arranged, a heat exchange device having a first heat exchange portion contacting with the whole area of one side of the recording head in the lengthwise direction thereof and effecting heat exchange and a second heat exchange portion provided in continuation to the first heat exchange portion and extending on the outside far from the recording head, a heater provided near the second heat exchange portion for heating the heat exchange device, and a temperature detector provided on a portion of the first heat exchange portion; the second heat exchange portion being inclined upwardly relative to the recording head; a cooling device for acting on the second heat exchange portion of the heat exchange device and assisting the heat radiation of the second heat exchange portion; and drive controller for controlling the driving of the cooling device and/or the heating device on the basis of the temperature detected by the temperature detector.

    摘要: An apparatus for detecting the velocity information of an object comprises the irradiation optical system for performing the irradiation of beam to the predetermined position on an object to be measured; the photodetector for detecting the light from the irradiated object by the irradiation optical system, the velocity information being obtained by the detection; the detector for detecting the irradiating state for detecting the deviation of the irradiating position of the beam on the object to be measured; and the adjuster for adjusting the irradiating state of the beam on the object based on the detection result of the detector for detecting the irradiating state. With such constituents as above, the apparatus is capable of dealing with the fluctuation of the lightning to obtain a high-precision detection of the velocity information at a high speed.
