摘要: A liquid ejection apparatus includes an ejection port ejecting a liquid, a pressure chamber storing the liquid, an element generating energy for ejecting the liquid in the pressure chamber, first and second tanks which can store the liquid, a flow passage establishing communication between the first and second tanks through the pressure chamber, a switching unit switching a flowing direction of the liquid in the flow passage between a first direction from the first tank to the second tank and a second direction being opposite to the first direction, and a pressure compensation unit. When a pressure in a downstream side flow passage portion downstream of the pressure chamber has a predetermined pressure or below, the pressure compensation unit compensates for reduction in pressure in the downstream side flow passage portion by supplying the liquid to the downstream side flow passage portion.

摘要: A liquid-discharging head includes a pressure-generating element configured to be actuated to apply pressure on liquid in a pressure chamber from which the liquid is discharged through a nozzle, an actuation controller configured to control actuation of the pressure-generating element, a heat-releasing member configured to contact the actuation controller, and a cover member configured to cover the actuation controller and part of the heat-releasing member. The heat-releasing member includes a first heat-releasing member and a second heat-releasing member. The first heat-releasing member is arranged outside the cover member and has a surface exposed to external air. The second heat-releasing member is arranged inside the cover member and has a first end portion to contact the actuation controller. The first heat-releasing member and the second heat-releasing member are arranged to contact each other.

摘要: A wall-shaped enclosure that forms a space which can accommodate a head chip is formed in a projecting manner at a lower end of a lower case member. Since a cylindrical thick part is formed at the lower end of the lower case member, the lower case member is unlikely to be bent, particularly around the wall-shaped enclosure and a part where the wall-shaped enclosure is disposed. The head chip that is disposed in the space of the lower case member which is unlikely to be bent is unlikely to be subjected to an external force, and the cover member absorbs torsion generated between the head chip and the lower case member so that the head chip is even more unlikely to be subjected to the external force.
