摘要： An image recording apparatus configured to record images on a front surface and a back surface of a recording sheet, the image recording apparatus including: a recording head which ejects ink onto the recording sheet for recording; and a controller configured to execute controls for operations of the image recording apparatus, wherein the controller includes a sheet-stopping control section configured to execute a control for stopping the recording sheet for a specific time after the image has been recorded on the front surface of the recording sheet and before the image is recorded on the back surface of the recording sheet, and wherein the image recording apparatus further comprises a biasing device configured to bias the recording sheet, so as to retain the recording sheet in a specific shape, in a state in which the recording sheet is stopped by the control of the sheet-stopping control section.

The support member includes a first support portion comprising at least one first guide portions disposed corresponding to the at least one contact portion, and a plurality of second guide portions disposed corresponding to the plurality of ribs and disposed above the plurality of first guide portions. The support member further comprises a second support portion comprising a third guide portion disposed downstream of the first support portion.

摘要： A first frame includes a pair of first roller-receiving portions which rotatably supports a convey roller. A second frame is attached to the first frame and includes an extending portion which extends beyond one of the first roller-receiving portions toward one side of the convey roller in its axial direction. A third frame includes a base portion, and a first side wall and a second side wall which are opposite to each other. The first and second side walls are attached to the extending portion so as to he perpendicular to the axial direction of the convey roller. The first side wall is disposed more toward the one side of the convey roller in the axial direction than the second side wall and includes a portion which receives a shaft of a motor for the convey roller, and a second roller-receiving portion which rotatably supports the convey roller.

摘要： An ink-jet recording apparatus includes: a base member a conveyor unit supported by the base member, for conveying a sheet in a conveying direction parallel to a first direction; and a recording unit, supported by the base member for ejecting ink when the recording unit is opposed to the sheet in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction. The base member is divided into a first base portion that supports the conveyor unit and the recording unit, a second base portion contiguous to the first base portion and located downstream of the first base portion in the conveying direction, and a third base portion contiguous to the second base portion and located downstream of the second base portion in the conveying direction. A stiffness of the second base portion is less than that of each of the first base portion and the third base portion.
