    摘要: An object of the present invention is to provide an automotive alternator achieving high output by overlapping a laminated core of a stator and yoke portion of a field rotor in an axial direction, and enabling electromagnetic noise to be reduced by prescribing dimensional relationships in the field rotor. In this automotive alternator, a ratio (R2/R1) between an outer radius R2 of a cylindrical portion of a Lundell-type core and an outer radius R1 of the Lundell-type core is set to a range from 0.50 to 0.54, and a ratio (Tr/Tp) between an axial overlap length Tr between the laminated core of the stator and the yoke portions of the Lundell-type core and an axial length Tp of the yoke portions is set to a range greater than or equal to 0.2.

    摘要: The present invention is a rotor for a vehicle a.c. generator which increases the operational life of the a.c. generator. The rotor, in the present invention for a vehicular a.c. generator includes a bobbin having a rotor coil for generating a magnetic field wound thereon and including fixing portions for supporting lead wires of the rotor coil; a pair of rotor cores for sandwiching the rotor coil and the bobbin therebetween; slip rings having terminals to be connected to the lead wires; grooves formed in the rotor core for housing the lead wires, the lead wires extending between the fixing portions and the terminals; and a rear fan provided so as to cover the grooves. The fixing portion, the terminal and the groove for each of the lead wires are provided so as to be substantially aligned, and the groove has an inward portion near an inner periphery of the rotor formed in a greater width than an outward portion near an outer periphery of the rotor.

A multi-phase stator winding of the alternator has: a plurality of joint portions where a distal end extending in an axial direction of a first conductor portion drawn out from a first layer in a slot and a distal end extending in an axial direction of a second conductor portion drawn out from a second layer in a slot located a predetermined number of slots apart in a circumferential direction are connected outside the slot on an end surface side of the stator core; and a coil end where the joint portions are disposed in a plurality of rows in the circumferential direction. The joint portions are set apart by half a slot from a diametrical line in a circumferential direction.
