Abstract:
Methods, systems, and computer program products for tracking operation of a comfort product include determining an occupancy record for the comfort product. An indication of whether an action relating to the comfort product is recommended is provided based on the occupancy record.
Abstract:
An apparatus for replacing a roll of material with a replacement roll of material comprises a loading station and multiple feed stations downstream of the loading station. Each station comprises two legs and a motorized drive assembly extending between the legs. The drive assembly rotates two sprockets and an endless chain surrounding the sprockets inside each of the legs at a station to raise or lower carriages. A roll support extends between the carriages at each station.

Abstract:
Apparatuses, methods, and computer program products for quilting webs. A quilting machine includes a cutting edge, a looper from which thread is provided to form stitches, and an adjuster assembly. The adjuster assembly extends an adjuster toward the thread between the looper and the retainer. When the adjuster is moved, a predetermined amount of thread is pulled away from the looper by the adjuster to provide a controlled length of thread between the looper and the cutting edge. The looper assembly may also include an air nozzle that urges the thread away from the adjuster after the thread has been cut. The thread passes through a thread tension monitor that monitors tension in the thread. The tension monitor includes a lift arm that selectively disables the tension monitor so that a loss of tension in the sewing head does not shut down the quilting machine.
Abstract:
A layered stack is created by placing webs of adhesive on opposite sides of web of cushioning layer and placing outer webs outside the webs of adhesive. An outer surface of a rotating drum is heated by heating oil inside the drum. An endless belt is heated by at least one heater. The layered stack is pulled between the heated endless belt and the heated rotating drum via a motorized drive assembly which rotates the endless belt. Both sides of the layered stack are heated enough to melt each web of adhesive when the layered stack passes between the heated moving endless belt and the heated rotating drum.

Abstract:
A mattress age indicating device includes an enclosure and an indicating assembly contained within the enclosure. The age indicating device may be configured to present an indication related to the mattress's age and may be coupled to the mattress or other bedding or seating product.
Abstract:
A multi-needle chain-stitch quilting machine and method of operation thereof are provided that imparts relative motion between the needles and the material that is controlled so as to pull needle thread tails from the needle side of the quilted material. The feature of controlling thread tails may be optional to provide selection of either a high speed mode of operation without thread tail control or a quality mode of operation with reduction or removal of needle thread tails from the face of the quilted material. Thread trimmers may be included at each needle location on the looper side of the material to cut both needle and looper threads.
Abstract:
Apparatuses, methods, and computer program products for quilting webs without compressing the webs. A quilting machine includes a needle bar to which needles are attached, needle thread passing through each needle, a looper shaft to which loopers are attached, a looper corresponding to each needle and from which looper thread is provided to form stitches, and a retainer bar to which spreaders are attached to facilitate stitching. A drive pulley powered by a first servo motor rotates cranks to move the needles through a cycle and rotates a belt which rotates an indexer pulley. Rotation of the indexer pulley oscillates the looper shaft and reciprocates the retainer bar. Another drive pulley powered by a second servo motor operates to move an input web through the machine between chain stiches.
